  • Upgrading or Installing Mid-Playthrough - Info and Warnings

As mentioned in the description, upgrading or adding this mod to an in-progress save that has already completed Old World Blues is not supported. However, should you decide not to heed this warning and do it anyway, you may find that your Transportalponder! functions erratically or not at all.

You can attempt to fix this by removing the Transportalponder! from your inventory, and then re-adding it. Here are the console commands to use:

    Player.RemoveItem NVDLC03WeapTeleporter 1
    Player.AddItemAlt NVDLC03WeapTeleporter 1

This will remove the glitched-out Transportalponder! and grant you a new one, at which point hopefully the script will reset, allowing full use of your Transportalponder!.

However, should you choose to ignore this warning, you can check for compatibility yourself using a few different methods. You will need the following:

    FNVEdit

  • Configuration Options

Here are the extended details of the various configuration options.

Set Recall Point Here: Allows you to set a personal custom recall point to anywhere in the game that you’d normally be able to use the Transportalponder! at. Set one at your favorite player house, a reliable merchant, or just wherever the hell you want.

Recall points cannot be set in interiors or any other location where the Transportalponder! would not function normally.
Recall points cannot be set in The Fort, with the exception of Auto-Recall or Automatic Mode, which will instead set the recall point to the entrance of The Fort.
Auto-Recall: With Auto-Recall set, any time the Transportalponder! is used to teleport, your recall point will be set to whatever location you telep...
