PSA: • There is an issue with your installation if your skybox EVER looks like the attached screenshot. • If your weather has intense white sky banding on the horizon, desaturated colors, and drab lighting, follow the steps below.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
• DNWeathers.esp must be absolutely last in your load order, but load any rain mods or DNW patches/add-ons after. • Patches made with Wrye Bash or Mator Smash will cause issues when loaded after DNW. It's not recommended to use these anyways. • Install any available updates for the script extender requirements: JIP, xNVSE, JohnnyGuitar, Climate Control, and Stewie's Tweaks. • Do not use any other weather, lighting, tint remover, or darker nights type plugins unless they are compatible with DN Weathers. • Do not use a config file from an older version of this mod - copy any values you've changed to the latest config file after updating. • If all of the above suggestions fail, try the Scripted Climate Setter file under Misc Files.
MORE INFO ON LOAD ORDER:
• Load order can be adjusted by moving plugins on the right side with Mod Organizer 2. • Do not rely on LOOT. It will likely place this mod too far up in your load order. • I can not help you if you use NMM or FOMM, they are outdated - use MO2 or Vortex. • Refer to Viva New Vegas for tips on using MO2: https://vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com/intro.html • Adjusting load order for Vortex users: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/About_Load_Orders
Sorry to bother Clayvn, this might just be a me thing, and if so please ignore it. But I keep seeing updates making nights less dark. Personally I'm a really big fan of darker nights. Is there any chance you can leave an option for that?
Hello, does this mod implements dynamic exposure or something similar? I noticed that brightness fluctuates based on either the screen's direction or it's content(I'm not sure which). I'm playing on steam deck/linux with DXVK.
Question: Why not split saturation config to be between day and night? That would take care of some of the complaints with the night time lighting looking overly saturated and cartoony while retaining the color impacts during daylight hours. -0.6 gets the light's colors pretty close to vanilla during the night, but the setting is lacking during the day since it takes out a lot of the new weather's punches.
Also I'm another person having an issue with The Tops lighting as already reported.
Adding a comment here for extra visibility--I filed a proper bug report, but in essence, using DNWeathers with NewVegasReloaded causes brightly-colored spots to appear behind the game's blood spatter decals if the Tonemapping shader is on. I've tested this fairly extensively. DNW is placed properly in my load order. The screenblood texture is only touched by one mod and hiding its files doesn't resolve the issue. I uninstalled reshade, ran MO2 as admin, ticked and un-ticked auto Archive Invalidation--none of it helped. Even running a plugin load of only Base Game + DLCs and DNWeathers, this still happens. I'm fairly confident of my asserted cause for this, as a result.
I've found only 3 other reported instances of this glitch online, and 2 of them accredit DNWeathers to the issue. One even having installed VNV via Wabbajack and still having this problem. Please, look into this. You can probably get in touch with the NVR devs via the TES Reloaded discord, in which NVR has its own dedicated section that it's devs interact with.
the only weather mods I have are this and climate control for rain, but I can't get the setting that change brightness to actually work in game, is there something else I have to do besides change them in the .ini?
Is it normal for the weather to change when loading a save. I can save on a sunny day and then on load it seems to pick a random weather, might suddenly be foggy or raining
Hello! Thank you for this mod! I had a little issue and was wondering if you can help. I am playing Fallout TTW with the NV version of this mod paired with True Weathers and I installed it correctly according to the description page but for some reason I am unable change weather by pressing the default keys (SHIFT + BACKSLASH) as nothing happens nor am I able to disable weather with SHIFT + DELETE as a message on the top left tells me that the weather cannot be disabled. Is it normal? Also, I've notice that the colors/brightness seems a bit muted with this mod installed, is there anyway to brighten the world, similar to default HDR with this mod? Thanks!
Is there a way to keep the Tops Casino lights on? The back goes dim whenever I enable this mod. Edit: Looks like it's not just me the Tops is dark in the screenshot too.

I am playing TTW with this mod but all shiny stuff like weapons and armour still have green tint present.
