There is a function I added to quickly get to the train transition: put call BHYQuickNVStart into the console to be teleported straight to the train switch and get a ticket for free.
KEYWORDS has been removed as a requirement. The perk removal option has been removed, as it's been a nightmare to try to get to occur without issues. Even with intense ironing out of kinks, it probably couldn't ever work right in every circumstance.
If you're really, really desperate to use that problematic option, read the note at the bottom of the description. As stated there, posts and bug reports describing issues with it will be deleted.
It seems that (unless there is a safe added i havent seen) the key on benny not only didnt unlock the safe behind the bar, it didnt have my stuff in it. if the safe is somewhere else, please let me know, as i was carrying a bunch of unique stuff at the time of departure.
EDIT: i found the safe, to those looking for it, it's behind a curtain in a room behind the bar
Some problem with tag perk, at Doc Mitchel you need to retag your skills, its shows that 4/3 tagged and cant apply it until one tag is removed, so it basically making this perk useless.
Hi, I had the same issue; I had to do a workaround through console commands to fix it. First, I ran " player.removeperk tag " which removed the inert tag perk from my character sheet, and then I ran " player.addperk tag " which put the perk back onto my sheet while also allowing me to reapply the tag that I'd lost.
Just wanted to post here mainly for the benefit of others. After spending about 2 hours pulling my hair out wondering why my changes to the ini weren't working - it seems like Begin Again/TTW has it's own humbling.ini in the Begin Again Configs\config folder. This one seems to overwrite the base mod, so you can either delete this one which defaults back to the one in the (Benny Humbles You...) mod folder, or you can just edit the Begin Again config. Not sure if this is new because I can't really find anything about it.
based on my experience and understanding, it won't work unless you save the edits to the .ini file and load into an old save from before you go to new vegas or else it won't impact the perks that are already there.
Sorry if this has been asked, but I can't find the answer and I can't figure it out myself. In the ini file, what do I change to make it to where my level doesn't reset and no perks lost. I see what I need to change, (bRemovePerks=0, and bResetLevel=1) but I don't know what to change it too. Thank you in advanced, really excited to cross over to NV soon.
This is assuming you haven't made the jump yet. Given that remove perks is disabled by default already, setting reset level to 0 should prevent the level reset.
I'm using Begin Again and so didn't know that this mod can permanently debuff things like gun spread and especially movement and reload speed, and that its set to permanent by default with BA. I have found that for me this doesn't necessarily make the game harder for my build, just slower. Is there any way to remove/offset the debuff with console commands or something? I tried changing the INI after getting the permanent debuff but before hitting level 15 and that didn't work, nor did I expect it to lol
Well duh, you ain't gonna get rid off it if you play on a save that has the perk set to be permanent. You have to restart your journey again. Big brain move: make a save before entering new vegas.
Find the perk ID in the console for both Humbled and HeadTrauma with "search "(perkname)" and remove with "player.removeperk <base id>". I did this myself today at level 12, no need to make a whole new save
is there a way to make it so that I can't pick any new perks until I've regained my level from DC? So say I left DC at level 20, my first 10 perks choices are disabled. I love the idea of starting from level one but I don't want double the perks I should normally have.
I think the skill reduction was way too aggressive. Somehow I ended up with some negative skills. Thankfully, I figured out how to edit the Humbling.ini. Really wish that was explained upfront. Or, it would be really nice if there was a way to configure the mod in the menu. I think reasons for the mod make sense, but it shouldn't start you off worse than if you were playing vanilla.
