ENBseries is a free graphics mod/tool being developed by Boris Vorontsov at www.enbdev.com. ENBseries allows for sophisticated, next generation visual effects to be added to current and older DirectX9 computer games. Perhaps best known for his work with TES V Skyrim, Boris has also developed an advanced version of his mod for the Fallout 3 / Fallout New Vegas game engines. By its nature, ENBseries can be very demanding on your machine, but it is also infinitely customizable to suit your tastes and needs -- those who enjoy tinkering will find a world of wonders!
Enhanced Shaders is a custom ENBseries preset for Fallout New Vegas. While ENBseries enables many effects and configuration options for the game, it does not necessarily make for an improved or more realistic game image straight out of the box. For example, more bloom or more color contrast does not equal more realistic. Enhanced Shaders aims to be the most BALANCED and PLAYABLE ENBseries configuration available. It strives for a realistic aesthetic that is not overdone, and that works well across all in-game scenarios, i.e. days, nights, dungeons, interiors. Enhanced Shaders also offers optional bonus effects, including sharpening, faux cel-shading, 8-bit DOS effect, FXAA Injector suite and more.
For those who may not know me, I've been doing this for a while, from the original FNV ENHANCED SHADERS in 2010 and SKYRIM ENHANCED SHADERS in 2011. Please upload screenshots to the gallery, and feel free to leave a question or comment!
It does! Thank you, tho it is a shame that I have to disable it, I do like the effect, but it just makes everything too blury, I don't like it. Oh well, it is what it is.
Outside this is great, both day and night, but this seems to detect all indoor scenes as outdoor, making the lighting way too bright, or casting strange shadows that should not be there
lol This ENB is actually nostalgic to me from when I used it like 7 years ago for my first time playing FNV, thanks for it Think you'll ever remake a version of it for Desert Natural Weathers?
Strongly advise against this ENB, it somehow looks blurry and jaggy at the same time. compared it to other ENBs and whatever settings this one has makes the lack of AA 10x more noticable than other ENBs, its completely distracting. No idea how this is so popular, it looks really bad
The adaptation that comes along with the enb is causing the lighting to be strange. When I look around the lighting changes quickly and its distracting, I found out that the cause was the adaptation. Any way I can fix this?
I`m using Nevada Skies along with the intended version of Enhanced Shaders but whenever I load my save it either crshes or freezes on the loading screen. Any idea on how to fix this?
I'm encountering a weird phenomenon. When I look a certain direction, the global illumination seems to darken significantly in the open world space. It's quite literally almost night and day. I've looked through forums and can only find information about interior cells. Does anyone know how to fix this? I recently put together a mod list that suits me very well and I'm dreading picking it apart. I have no weather or lighting mods on, so I can't think of what would possibly be causing this. I was thinking it could be something to do with my LOD, but it happens regardless of my LODgen. Could it be textures?
I think I have a similar issue? Along the edges of the screen the ENB has no effect. Which is very noticeable if you're moving as shadows/ambient occlusion just... vanish. And this is both the left, top and right sides of the screen.
I removed improved lighting shaders. Uninstalled it completely. I even checked the file locations Fallout New Vegas\Data\Shaders\ILS & Fallout New Vegas\Data\NVSE\plugins to make sure it was gone.
The problem persists. I'm still trying to fix it. Are there any other mods that are known to or could cause this issue? Thanks
Edit: Disabling all of my other lighting-related mods didn't fix the issue. It seems to be on the ENB end of things. Ig for now I will be doing an enb-less playthrough
Edit 2: I don't get the problem when using the neutral edition of this enb, if that's significant in any way.

Thing is, I find the whole thing makes the game a bit too blurry.
How can I lower or even remove this?
Thank you.
