I know you've already left NV (as stated on the mod-page) but: This is exactly the sort of quirky (but also cool!) weapon I want in Fallout, frankly we are truly missing gadgets such as this...I mean we are in a world where alien tech and teleporters exist, but nobody has yet made stuff like a decoy-hologram to draw fire? Or a handheld short-range teleporter? or even a deployable energy-field (those exist, too we see them in Fallout 2 for example!)?

ps: No, that it is "over powered" doesn't concern me, it is an offline game (unlike 76 - which I am not playing myself!) and OP-Weapons should exist in the game and they should (partly) even be easy to get for players who have already completed the game and know where to look!
There's nothing more funny than seeing the Starlet-Hologram chase after those primitive luddite slavers from the Legion :)

great except when there is a explosion I lose the emitter and have to click the hologram in console and disable it

Amazing mod! Honestly I am surprised that I haven't seen it sooner.

You should add a feature that would make a hologram of Dean Domino singing "Something's gotta give" (fully, not short like the DLC). It would make me and many other players happy

I just released a mod that will go well with your I do believe, and I have linked to your mod here in my comments section.

    My Mod Is:

    The Starlets Gaze by Ogramirad

    Great Job On Your Mod!

I couldn't figure out how to do that for mine, I was going to place Hostile Holograms inside the Z-38 lightwave dynamics research lab, where my mod is located.. Lol

Hey, just to say thank you for being a major inspiration when I was making my own version of the device in Mad Science. (not a straight copy, mine works quite differently)

I took a look into the flickery/fadeout issue myself, I haven't solved it, but I didn't try very hard.
upon a rather deep investigation into it, I found that Dead Money and OWBs each add a script attached to a quest. This script is designed to update the Hologram's effects whenever the player enters their cells.
I think with a little adaption it could work just fine for these mods.
I'm a bit surprised it doesn't work for them already though, they're still relatively normal holograms even if they're being controlled by scripts and are in the player faction.

Mine don't suffer much from this problem (hence why I wasn't bothered to fix it) because they only appear during combat, and whenever they respawn, they're reset so the effects nearly always work.
it only seems to happen when I fast-travel into combat. so the holograms appear before I entirely finish loading.
