Cool mod (the original), nice plot twist. The only issue I saw was an open door in Dun-Ahhe that led nowhere. It was just open water and the outside of the cave.

Looks cool! Can't wait to start my new character and experience this mod! I think the helmet looks cool.

Hmm. This looks great. And actually a lot more immersive than the vanilla shrine indeed. I'm not a real fan of that helmet you used though...

Thanks! Yep, this was the idea - a bit more uniqueness and immersion for this particular uninspired scene.

Hm, about the helmet ... I was looking for something to evoke popular imagery of Talos and had this in mind because, well, not every Morrowind ressource is named after infamous diadochi warlords. So Turelek's helmet (https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/100/images/43719-0-1476042017.jpg) was worn by one of Alexander's generals - it's not the classical greek hoplite style anymore (which fits to First Era Nibenay, back in Tamriel) but not yet the typical augustean roman helmet of the Legion in ES III: Morrowind. So I thought it would fit for a tiberian style, nearly four hundred years before the events of ES III: Morrowind. And the wings made it even more interesting for me because Skyrim's well-known Talos statue (http://en.uesp.net/w/images/a/a8/SR-place-Bloated_Man%27s_Grotto_02.jpg) wears a winged helmet, too. (Possible lore assocation here: Kyne, Stormcrown, Fatherland ...)
^ To explain why the historical background and the wings for my part exactly ringed the Talos bell.
