1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files directory.

2. PLAYING THE PLUGIN

To use this mod, check the box next to SLATEx#.esp or SLATE_Default.esp in the Data Files menu of the Morrowind launcher.

This mod slightly alters the way the player levels in the game. Instead of being able to level skills through use, the player can only level skills via paid training with NPCs.

Five of the SLATE.esp files included fix the level-up stat modifier at a given level: x5, x4, x3, x2, and x1. The SLATE_Default.esp mimics default Morrowind stat modifier behavior.

There are 6 .esp versions, please only use one.

3. PLUGIN FEATURES

-- Changes the various level up settings. Instead of increasing skills through use, you have to train with NPCs to improve.

4. Save Games

*****************************************************************

This plugin should not invalidate your old saved games. If you remove the
plugin from a game already in progress, you will have to click through
all those error messages. However, you should be able to continue on afterward.

**Note: As a rule, you should backup all your saves before using this or any
other plugin, as a precaution against any strange error you might encounter.
