Good looking mod! Only problem is that whatever disgusting graphics mod you are using for Morrowind looks like a pile of cat ****, and I'd be hesitant to download this mod because of that. If you want, I could take some screenshots on Vanilla Morrowind, or you could find someone with a better graphics mod to do that- your mod needs better publicity, not this crap. Otherwise, good change! I'm downloading now!
I use MGSO 3 too, but it looks like the textures in your screenshot are a bit low or something (there's something offsetting about them, but it's probably just low graphics settings or just how screenshots turn out). The current screenshots are just fine to showcase the mod.
@TheDrunkenMudcrab You know, after seeing several of your other comments and mod descriptions, it's apparent that you're not a decent type of person. You're either extremely passive aggressive or plainly aggressive and foul-mouthed to anyone who doesn't align with your particular tastes or opinions. This is not a generally accepted behavior among those participating within the greater modding community. It's a shame since you're a fairly well-known mod author. You may not care, and that doesn't matter much to me. I couldn't continue reading and not say something. Your attitude towards others is despicable and you should feel ashamed. Hopefully, you can learn from this and attempt to be a better and kinder person.
This mod is a staple mod for me! I play on OpenMW and I'm also using protective guards ( openmw version ) and it was cool to see a guard shooting at the alits on top of the gate walls. thanks again for this mod!
There's a dirty reference to "in_common_tower_thatch3" in the "Caldera, South Guard Tower" cell. You should delete it with Enchanted Editor or another cleaning tool, since it is clearly unintentional and causes numerous clipping errors. Easy to find, since there are only 3 references in that cell in total.
Nice! Interesting mod Maybe you can add more features, eg: at night, the guard asks your identity, your reason for entering the city etc etc? Something that put more reality-feeling?

A suggestion, add a gate guard that allows you to enter for a fee or search for stolen goods/bounty.
