File broken, not a valid TPF file. Mod doesn't work.

I know this was a long time ago but I'm getting the same "not found in tree" error whenever I'm analyzing with the TPF tool and always says "0 out of 3 valid" then when I run the auto-fix, it'll say "All textures are valid, skipping auto-fix" just to go back to saying "0 of 3 valid"

I would really love to use this but its driving me crazy at the moment trying to get it to work... Thank you 4 your time nonetheless...

Jack's my favourite ME character, so it's awesome to see her getting some mods, but I feel like this texture is a little too smooth. Her skin doesn't look realistic anymore. She is missing small features such as pores, freckles and her lips aren't as creased as before.

Her lip scar is missing, and I get that you did that perhaps intentionally, however I feel it detracts from her look somewhat.

Even her eyebrows are fuzzy and pixellated, and overall the new textures look fairly blurry, actually.

I guess it's all subjective, and I really don't mean to be rude at all, but personally, I feel that her face looks a little plasticky at the moment. You could try to make a sort of middle ground between the two textures, so that it's smoother than Vanilla but not as smooth as the mod.

You could also try to make the files higher resolution, or at least less blurry.

I like the idea of a retexture for Jack, because honestly the original textures were great back in the day but now look dated, so it would be nice to see her brought into 2017's standards. I feel like your mod is heading in the right direction, but needs improving. These are just my suggestions for areas of improvement.

Jack's vanilla makeup, particularly the lipstick is chunky and mismatched, which fits the characteristics, however looks very distracting. Your own lipstick has a tidier feel to it, however it is lacking detail, and the shape is slightly too small.

I would suggest looking at some recent games' face textures, and emulating them to the best of your skills. I personally am a fan of Jack's ME3 appearance, including her face textures, and I feel that if you were to make this closer to those textures, it would be a vast improvement over vanilla.

I hope you understand that I'm not trying to put you or your mod down or anything; in fact I encourage you to keep working on it! Without constructive criticism, we would never improve!

Thanks for your effort and I hope you continue with this. n_n

Thank you so much for your critique! I completely agree with you!
I have never really made mods before, so it was inevitable that the first of my mods would be a bit problematic x) !
I am currently lacking the time to work on this (or other) mods for the moment, but when I return (which I plan to do), I will definitely do what you suggested. It's an absolutely great critique that I will take into account when I start re-working this mod. Thank you so much again!

Ah, you're welcome. I wrote that months ago, I completely forgot about it. Glad to see you took it so well, didn't mean it to sound rude at all. I noticed you had Yennefer as your profile pic, and honestly, that's a good example of great textures. Maybe It'd be good to look at The Witcher 3 girls for a guideline as to how to texture, because they are undeniably quite realistic but also very pretty. Not a fan of the games themselves, but the characters look incredible.

      Thanks!

I love this retex, but am having a slight problem. I run the tpf with ME3Explorer and when I tell it to Analyze, it comes up and says textures "not found in tree." I have other texture mods working, none that affect Jack. So I'm really not sure what I've done wrong. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

Have you tried using Mass Effect Modder? It's far better for installing textures.
