This is such a mod.  The F4 universe looks much better because of it.  There's still plenty of detail inside of the game world, but with much less ugliness.

Is there a way to adjust the settings for this mod after you select a option or do you have to uninstall and reinstall to select a option again? Just curious.

Sure. The mod just changes the show/hide flag in Fallout4.esm, nothing more. Nothing is added to the game, nothing is removed from the game, it is not even saved in the save files. Once you delete the mod, all objects will be visible again.

You don't need this. You need 4k mods.

      Really?

      I mean really...?

"Hi guys I have a £600 GPU, a GPU that costs more than the average Joe's PC, do I need this mod???" What? ...do you need even more FPS for your FPS's?

Chill guys, yes it's almost unavoidable to not be flamed with his question but there are people who really don't know -even- basic stuff about PCs, or they are new to PC gaming (coming from consoles too).

You still need this mod. You are still going to get frame dips with a 980Ti. Install 4k mods THEN this one to get rid of the stupid insignificant stuff...

Then he can go burn his dollars and stop trolling irrelevant stuff. No need to show off how rich he is. Even he is as rich as Donald Trump, people still hate him.

Lmao, reading this comment thread in 2024 is hilarious.

I wish flagship GPUs were only $600 today...

It's actually a good suggestion. I removed Starfield and Skyrim also, now I don't have to worry about any Bethesda performance issues ever again.

Have seen some popular mod authors and mod guide creators say to avoid this mod because at best it's just placebo. I've done some testing and with my load order, there wasn't a noticeable fps increase, but it massively smoothed out the stutters I was having. I'm going to assume the numbers I saw weren't lying and the game actually did get smoother, because it feels much better. Except downtown, but nothing fixes that mess.

I've had the same experience with this mod. I've tested this extensively and I don't understand why. But it definitely nets me 3-5 extra FPS on average most noticeable in the city. Why? How? No clue, gave up trying to figure it out.
