  • Best way to deal with lisence violations.

Here's a small guide to the best way to deal with someone using your content in a way that violates your terms of use. This is only a recommendation, there is not really a "best" way of doing it. But I think it's a very constructive way of doing it, anyhow.

This guide is mainly intended for people who use the NMG Framework, but even if you don't, this might be helpful.

Now, first of all. Most people in the world are decent people, like you and I. So it's a good idea to actually make sure this person is being outright negligent, or if it's just a simple misunderstanding. Look at the mod page. How well written is it? Perhaps the individual in question is younger, or an ESL, and haven't fully understood the terms of use.

  • Thumblesteen's Toolbox

So, with the massive amount of third party software needed now. Here's a list of stuff I've found to be useful.

    B.A.E - Bethesda Archive Extractor
(Open those pesky Bs2 archives that are too good for 7-zip compression.)

    Wavosaur - Audio Editor
(Fallout 4 wave files rely on loop markers to do certain stuff. Wavosaur is great for this, as well as quick edits.)

    Audacity - Audio Editor
    (Good for larger audio pr...

  • Become a volunteer!

This is a small post to highlight a new section in the discussion tab which allows you to become a chapter leader of the Nexus Modder's Guild. The choice is up to the community, democracy first, after all. If nobody votes, however, then I'll step in as a dictator and choose the candidates for you. Because that's what happens when you don't exercise your democratic rights. That, and not to mention, clearly, nobody's all that bothered about who becomes chapter leader.

So, by all means, run off and volunteer, and vote. You can even vote for yourself. I won't count the vote, but you can still do it to build up your self-esteem.

So hurry up, before the vicious Generalissimo Thumblesteen rises to power!...
