You should make a hell mod for the commonwealth. How badass would it be to have zombies, demons (deathclaws), cerberi, hell hounds, psychopaths (raiders), and more?! This has given me such an interest, I wish I knew how to mod because there is so much that could be done with this. Maybe even add doom-like monsters, maybe some werewolves, and maybe turn this game into Fallout:Bloodborne/Doom along with a pit to hell in the glowing sea.
Unfortunately not without Geck. The glowing mongrel was made a little more lazy, it uses a regular mongrels base texture. If I make a glowing mongrel red all mongrels become red at the same time. Without Geck I cannot create a new texture set and apply it independently of the other mongrels... and dogmeat :D
Soooo did geck come out? are u still working on this mod? plz i would like to know cause it would be cool for all the dogs too look like that, and i cant find the glowing dog like there 1 in the vid is it legendary's only or???
At this point without a GECK Yes and No, Though I really wanna do it. Immediately when I finished texturing and went to play-testing effects I thought of our dog companion. The problem lies in that glowing mongrel has a special glow texture and glow model applied, and doegmeat doesn't have those. I did applied the model and texture to dogmeat but All I get is a zombie dog without eyes, having some green areas, no flaming floor, no glowing and in the sun the whole dog looks "misty" like it's texture gets mixed with white. I bet I could solve the problem of the lack of fire, maybe the milky texture, but without a specific command on its texture I can't make it glow hot red itself.

we can pretend that some dog mutated so badly that they became demonjust like the behemot mutan and the green rad ghoul ?
that would be fun
you seem prety talented. im gonna keep track of you untill geck come out and after too.
Is it possible it's an Ability/Skill effect, which is why it won't take on Dogmeat as just a texture?
