Confirming, this fixes the sprinting in Power Armour appearing as sprinting without Power Armour when a weapon or fists are equipped? I have this issue when I have my fists up and sprint in Power Armour.
I'm trying to do this for the Cazador Missile Launcher. But I can't figure out how to unpack the file. It says it's a windows console file but every time I try using the line it just says "hkxpack-cli.jar can't be accessed" even though I have it
You fixed the Wattz Laser Gun! I copied the first person human animation into a new directory and applied your fix. Added the new animation path in FO4edit and it works! No more sped up footsteps in power armor! I think you fixed all of the custom animated weapons with messed up power armor footsteps! Thank you for sharing this! Sorry for yelling!
I did fix several other weapon mods for myself, including the Wattz Gun, but since its such an easy fix, I didn't bother uploading. Also, you can fix the sprinting and crouched 1st-person running animation with the same method.
I've been doing the sprint animations, I didn't think about the crouch, thanks for the tip! I uploaded some in hopes people looking for the fix would find it easier, but you're right it is super easy. If you want to host the patches I uploaded on this page, I can take mine down and redirect here no problem.

i also did the same to the "WPNRunGunDown.hkx" file because I use the lowered weapon mod.

Is it normal for the sound to be super quiet if you repack the original mod? I wound up making a separate ba2 mod and it worked out fine.
