      Thank you.
It was so long ago that I can’t remember what I actually did with the thistle. I’ll sticky this until I get around to installing the game again and possibly updating

I absolutely love this mod. However it doesn't seem to work with horizon. So I was wondering if it is possible to make a patch could be made for horizon.

I had to uninstall this mod, because Thistle does not give me any piece when harvested, also no harvest sound played during interaction.

I think that is the vanilla issue? I think I have tried the different between mod or not. the one close to the red rocket won't give you anything.
EDIT: My mistake. It has the issue won't get anything when I test it again in the game. and vanilla it seems fine.
From my unprofessional view in fo4edit. The author doesn't seem to do anything wrong. All he does is replace the food item to use the level list instead, nothing else changed.

As No Wild Fruits is apparently disabled as corrupt nowadays, might you be interested in including that function (all fruits and veggies picked are that item, not some "wild" hogwash) in DFH?

The above is the Python message given now. It looks like the current and ongoing game engine has changed enough that No Wild Fruits needs updating, and the mod author is MIA I fear.

Could you do a mod that scripts the plant's (and Fungi) respawn? I have not seen ANYONE do it for fallout 4. A advantage of scripting the respawns instead of the vanilla game's cell reset method is that you can assign different respawn times to different types of plants in addition to be able to work/ frequently visit a settlement without about having to worry about resetting the cell respawn timer. You mentioned fast travelling, but with mods like Frost disabling fast travel it's not always a option (never a option in Frost) nor is it a role-play friendly option.

Are the plant respawns scripted or do they still respawn by cell reset?

This mod doesn’t touch the respawn conditions or frequency, only the output from activating the flora actors.

Oh, was looking for something like Bountiful Harvest in New Vegas where the respawn was scripted instead of a cell reset thing.

If you fast travel away and then back it will normally reset the flora in vanilla.

Yea, not a option though if you play Frost.

A suggestion for all my fellow Wasteland botanists and chefs :

Take your gardening to the next level and plant your flora almost anywhere that settlers can maintain them with this adorable little mod:

    "Ms.Rae's Horticulture" by MsRae (naturally)

    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17445/?tab=posts

This mod adds craftable planters to the food category and greenhouse growing tables to the furniture/tables section of the workshop build menu.
I was quite delighted when I discovered that my potted plants were cross-compatible with Dynamic Flora Harvesting, increasing my indoor yield considerably!
Hmm... but the Black Bloodleaf only gave me 1 per pot... probably just got screwed over by RNGesus again.

*EDIT* - (Apparently, MsRae's horticulture is NOT influenced by this mod. It only appears to be, because I went straight from counting yields in the wild to counting them in the greenhouse I made and thought the effect carried over. Silly me! MsRae's pots produce amounts based on what is visibly available in the pot, so what you see is what you get. Honestly, I rather prefer when RNGesus decides to be generous and lets me pull 3+ harvestables from a single plant... makes me feel like quite the master scavver, that does.)

Keep in mind, though- you must have settlers in need of assignments in order to get these potted beauties to grow for you. Otherwise, they just make for pleasant bits of clutter. Do like I do- assign, then recline!

*EDIT* (Nevertheless) I hope you guys enjoy the combination of these two great mods as much as I am!

I think I'll load that mod next time I play FO4, it certainly looks like it deserves more attention than it's had.
Is there a website for FO4 like Skyrim G.E.M.S? I've honestly never thought to look but it seems like there should especially with survival mode.

I agree... there should be a FO4 G.E.M.S.. I'll have to Google around and see what I can find.
And MsRae's Horticulture is a great mod. She also works on a collaborative clutter project, which the horticulture mod is also a part of.
Personally, I like to decorate as much as I can with what is already available to me. As far as the rest of the mods in my load order are concerned- I try to stick with only the most utilitarian type; very little frou-frou. I seriously overdid things back when I had my first taste of Skyrim on PC (my intro to Bethesda games was with TESIV on the ol' XBOX 360- thank you, #1 Son).
Learned a LOT of hard lessons that I brought with me to FO4 when I got this (my 1st PC) back in '13. Broke my game... and broke my own heart...
      multiple times.

Ooops, I made an assumption. MsRae was kind enough to clear that up. But be that as it may, I still suggest using the two mods together.
Plant lovers should stick together... ESPECIALLY if they are crazy enough to play in Survival Mode!

Going away now... (trying not to feel too embarrassed).

Oh look... there goes that loudmouthed, idiotic American... (me)

    Dear Chikawowwow,

Alrighty then! I think I've given the update a thorough testing. Both Nuka World and Far Harbor are randomly generating b/w 1-4 of their respective flora. The Commonwealth is also producing more generous yields, for the most part.

I noticed that RaulMz commented on thistle previously and I also experienced a lack of thistle in harvestable amounts greater than 1 per plant. (Wild) Tato Blossom/Flower was also incapable of producing more than one bloom per plant. Granted, I was only able to find 4 specimens each of these relatively rare plants. But it is of little consequence to me, as I have no great need of them and rarely ever touch the Chemistry workbench. I need my ingredients for cooking, so that I can spoil my character w/ a diverse fare of Wasteland cuisine!
Just prepared some Seasoned Rabbit Skewers... mmm mmm good! Time to open a bottle of wine!

I want to thank you again for taking the time to create this update for the Nexus community. I'm sure it will be appreciated by many (even if they don't remember to endorse). I, however, have endorsed the mod and given you some well-deserved kudos!

    Best Wishes!

    -Dal

I'm pretty sure I added the Thistle in the update. When I get home I'll check that I didn't mess it up. Like the Cave Fungus the Thistle isn't handled like the other Flora classes, it's just an Activator class so maybe that is the issue...

You're welcome, I sent you a kudos shortly after launching the update; its rare for people to request updates and not only help but also go the extra mile with wiki links (pictures would've been too much though :-p ).

Gosh... I sure would like to see a DLC update. Its been over a year since the last person requested this.

In Far Harbor, Black Bloodleaf and Lure Weed are required for certain cooking recipes, like Chicken Noodle Soup and Wolf Ribs. I don't mess around with chemistry much, but I'm pretty sure that there are other crafting recipes that draw upon what FH and NW add.

I hope you haven't bailed on this little project... I think it adds some much needed realism, IMHO.

Honestly I completely forgot about the update request, most of what I do isn't for Bethesda games.

If you want to tell me what plants need updating for Farharbour & Nukaworld and what is a reasonable harvest for each I can have it done this weekend.

      THANK YOU! Let's do this!
      FAR HARBOR-
      1) Aster. Can usually be found in clusters of 4, so 4 per harvest seems fair.
      http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Aster_(consumable)
      2) Black Bloodleaf. Can usually be found in shallow water, 1-3 per location, so if only one amount can be applied- I'd say make it 3.
      http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Black_bloodleaf
      3) Blight. Grows in groupings of 3 to 6, so if only one amount will do- aim high and give us 6.
      http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Blight
      4) Cave Fungus. Large clusters, numbering anywhere from 6 to a dozen or more depending on the location.
      http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Cave_fungus_(Far_Harbor)
      5) Lure Weed. Small amounts growing 1-3 per lily pad(?) in still, deep waters. Careful though...
that 3rd one sometimes turns out to be an Angler.
      http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Lure_weed

      NUKA WORLD
Only one that I could find- Fever Blossom. Typically sprouts 2 large blooms and 4-6 smaller ones. 2 per harvest is probably fair.
      http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fever_blossom

I'll be looking forward to the update. Tracking now!

Thanks for that list, it saved a lot of time.
The update is up so let me know if there are any issues.
I couldn't change the Cave Fungus as (unless I've lost the plot completely) Bethesda is using the literal ingredient as the plant rather than a Flora activator like with the rest. It's all a bit backward, Cave Fungus only exists in the main Fallout data but is only ever used in Farharbour :-S.

Its true that the fungus is pictured throughout the game, but only harvestable in Far Harbor. The wiki mentioned something of the sort.
      Ohhh Bethesda...

I'll give it a test run soon and let you know how it looks.

      Thanks again!

P.S.- Glad you liked the list. I was going to include screenshots as well, but decided that was a little OTT.
