this should be a vanilla thing, bethesda if youre listening please just add this to the next fallout. making dirty water should be a thing without needing to mod the game. handful of dirt + water = dirty water. basic logic
Hello everyone. Can someone tell me how to change XP ammount gained for crafting? I don't know what base value is, but with int 12 one get 5px, which is insane amount by my standards. After all, all I do is putting some mud from nearby river into my pure water;], right? But for real, immersion aside, 5xp for one dirty water is nice, for a start, and for crafting water from time to time, but in a long run, this will kick my level, faaar too faraway into the starts:). And I don't want that. Sooo 1xp is more appropriate... It sounds like I'm grumbling, but - nie, ten mały mod jest zajebisty, which means it's quite cool. I've opened some xoxoEdit or something, but don't see entry with XP gain. Thanks for mod my brother, it's one of those which repair Fallout:).
This solution is the best on the Nexus as it offers a conflict free way to solve the no water to cook with despite having too much water. One can bother fixing this by having mods that change the recipes to need purified water, but that can potentially cause conflicts with some mods maybe and inconsistencies with other mods that add more food items and use dirty water like vanilla items. At the end of the day, you can head cannon that its actually purified water that you put in a bottle that says "dirty" so your degenerate settlers can trust it more if it matters to you.
would you point me to that mod that changes dirty water to purified water in the recipes? It actually makes no sense at all why we'd prefer to use dirty water for cooking instead of the purified one and was looking for something like that, which I can't seem to find...
To be fair this is a more stable solution. Mods should avoid changing existing recipes as much as possible. Better to add new ones to work in parallel.
Thanks for this mod. A nice simple solution to the Dirty Water scarcity problem. It does not create a big XP exploit and it does not require silly extra ingredients either.
Crazy wastelanders... They lived 200 years drinking dirty water and now considered it tasty. But our sole survivor follows these recipes?? What a joke!
If you want to create more than 1 of the output item, ie. 4 dirty water, you would change the INTV - Data sub field Created Object Count to be how many. You would probably also change the required components. Could be funny and use something like tato + purified water to make 2 dirty water. More like dirty soup but anyway.
