They currently do have a marker, but I like the idea of them not doing so I will have a look into it. Currently, people should not open the doors when searching in combat though.
Yeah, that wasn't the best wording. What I meant was that npc's should not open the doors when searching in combat so if they are searching they should not recognise it as a door so I should be able to be used to hide behind. If the ai works properly and the flag does what I think it does. Don't worry, no harm will come to games, computers or loved ones by opening the door yourself.
I can have a look and see if I can work it out. I was considering making versions where only the player could activate them, but that could work as well.
I use Locksmith (Doors only version) and Zebrina's Workshop Devices. Together they let me auto-close ANY door, even from other mods, and lock them as well. Works for me, plus there are a ton of cool stuff and features in those mods!
I may have to look into those. I use Workshop Rearranged which has an Auto-Close version of all of its doors. Before that I used the Auto-Close mod but that was not always 100% compatible with other mods.
Any chance we can get screens of them in a few builds with them opened and closed? What do the backs look like, doors or the back of the shelf (flat wood)?
I might add some more pics at some point, but I don't have any builds to use them in yet. The back looks like a bookcase, just like the bookcase door that can be found near some raiders in the base game.

I'm abit confused as to what you mean by that?
So... What would happen if I opened one of these secret doors during combat??? :-O
