About this mod

There are 2 textures missing in the game archives so mirelurk egg omelettes appears shiney and flat. This mod fixes that.

Permissions and credits
Description

If you view mirelurk egg omelettes in your Pip-Boy they looks like they're glazed. And they have no details in their surface. The reason is, the model for these omelettes have 3 texures linked to it but only 1 is included in the game archives. I have made the missing textures so the object looks like it should.

Here are 2 gifs for comparison:

Installation

You can choose 2 texture resolutions in the download tab. 2K is the same resolution as the HD DLC, 1K is the vanilla resolution. 2K has more details, 1K uses less video memory from your graphics card. Choose whatever suits your taste.

Just use your favourite mod manager to install the files. If this is your first mod you may want to watch the tutorial from Gopher to get started. If something should still be unclear, just drop a comment and I would be glad to help you out.

To uninstall this mod, simply deactivate/delete it in your mod manager. No special preperations are necessary because no scripts and plugins are involved.

If you want to take a quick look if the mod has installed properly, type into the console
player.additem 4693E (you can copy and paste that into the game's console)
and check in your inventory if the omelette looks right.

Load Order

This mod adds only 2 textures and no plugin is needed so you don't need to worry about your load order sorting.

Technical stuff

I've build the normal and specular maps using the diffuse map from the HD DLC. Format for their compression is BC5 so you'll get the best quality without wasting VRAM. Mipmaps have been generated.

Fun fact: It took me roughly 15 minutes to build the 2 textures and over 2 hours to make the stupid Vault Boy image in Photoshop.
