    Hi folks!
So as a few of you may have seen, I have completely reworked my mod and uploaded the new version. Every parameter that was once achieved using SweetFX has now been integrated into the ENB itself, meaning it is now *drumroll* ENB ONLY!

Additionally, I've adjusted the adaptation settings so that my lighting plug-in is no longer necessary. In fact, not only is my mod compatible with weather mods like N.A.C., they make it look even better!

Since this mod has been inactive for a while, I'd love for you guys to take some new screenshots to help me promote it. I think I finally nailed the aesthetic I was looking for, and would love to give the ENB more exposure on the nexus.

WE INTERRUPT YOUR SCROLLING TO BRING YOU AN EXCITING NEW DEVELOPMENT!!

From the mind that brought you "Faded Glory" comes a new audiobook featuring my narration, as well as many of the songs featured in the mod as a soundtrack.  Do you like witchy s***?  Harlequin romance?  Fantasy?  If so, you might enjoy "The Seven Cozy Shorts - Bedtime Stories for Grownups."
7 stories, with 8 hours of narration and music by yours truly.  Available on Audible.

The Seven Cozy Shorts - Bedtime Stories for Grownups

Seriously though, if you enjoy my work than do a friend a favor and support the official release.  This is my first paid professional gig as a musician and actor, and I could use some help spreading the word.

    Much love,
    -Pat

    Dear community,

I'm currently running the following combination:
    - Fallout 4 HD Overhaul (2k)
    - FlaconOil's Complete Retexture Project
    - Natural Landscapes (2K - 4K) (+ Invisible Dirt Fix)
    - WET - Water Enhancement Textures
    - Far Object LOD Improvement Project
    - GRASSLANDS - A Fallout 4 Grass Overhaul
    - Luxor's Summer Pine Trees Edition
    - Natural Grasses and Groundcovers
    - Fallout 4 Enhanced Color Correction
    - Enhanced Night Sky - Improved Visible Galaxy Framework
    - Darker Nights
    - Enhanced Lights and FX
    - True Storms - Wasteland Edition (Thunder-Rain-Weather Redone)

    On the following:
    AMD Ryzen 7 4800H (2.9 - 4.2GHz), GeForce GTX 1650, 32GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro.

This combination works just fine on my machine, along with the A StoryWealth collection.

My questions to you are as follows:
    1. As I would like to install this ENB, would the perfomance impact be that great, given my laptop specifications?

    2. Can you please tell me what files from ENBSeries v.489 should I install? d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll only OR all files from WrapperVersion folder?

Thank you so much to any of you who can reply! 😊

I use this with a combination of True Storms and Polluted Climate for weather and Radium + Faded Glory for ambient music, and it blows me away every time. It gives the perfect balance of melancholy and fun danger. Integrated with tree mods that add shadows and mystery to what used to be barren wastes in Fallout 4, this ENB can really make it feel like a whole new game.

10/10 would get chased by a death claw in the dreary fog again

Just got a nice capable PC so I'm going through all the enb's and this one is my favourite. Just a few suggestions, you might want to disable the 48 frame limit on by default, I nearly uninstalled when I was quickly testing as I thought it was just really taxing. My eyes would go funny after a few minutes using this without some sharpening, I see you just ditched SweetFX but a version with Lumasharpen seems like a good idea, essential for me. When using SSAO (games AO disabled) I got some major flickering shadows in the distance.

All that said, if I can get SweetFX working with this and there are no serious bugs, I shall be using it for a long time. Looks spot on.

Just noticed the Lumasharpen file, could you tell me how to turn that up?

Just wanted to say, I've been using this, along with Faded Glory Soundscape, over the past few days... and I'm awed. Faded Glory, along with True Storms provides a wasteland feel that is starkly beautiful, in that haunting, sometimes chilling, way.
I was looking to change my game to something more bleak (previously I was using a more vanilla-ish ENB with some lush foliage), and this is perfect. Though there's often an ominous feel, moments of hope are interspersed, and your soundscape subtly, and beautifully, underscores that.
    Thank you!

Thank you so much for your kind words!

Yes, bleak-but-hopeful was my intent going into this.  Many of the songs from the Soundscape were conjured up from the abyss of my depression, even if I've long-since overcome it.  But music, be it jazz, classical, or rock, has always uplifted me, and I draw inspiration from a lot of styles I listened to as a kid.  The ENB is sort of a hodgepodge of frankly 'better' ENBs out there, with permission from the authors to use their assets of course... Ultimately I settled on something more "vanilla" friendly than not, because Fallout 4 really has the potential to be a beautiful, honest, and even soulful experience.
It just needed a bit more grit to bring it there.

FO4 can't decide whether it wants to be great RPG or simply a good shooter.  Afraid to say anything meaningful, it starts off with a promising premise, and then makes you choose between multiple nihilistic endings without any sense of hope.  But it's still an admirable effort, and I think one of Bethesda's better entries in a gameplay sense.

(Sorry for the wall of text)

I'm glad my work has helped some folks find fulfillment in their playthroughs.

      You are welcome.
Ah.... the language of music is universal; now I know part of why your Soundscape resonates so deeply... "Hello darkness, my old friend..."
I already enjoyed the vanilla ambient music, because it amplifies the Blade Runner feel of FO4, and the Faded Glory tracks blend seamlessly into it, enhancing that sensibility still further. Haunting, poignant.. Often, I'll delay having my character sleep, because I'm listening to one of Sanctuary's night time tracks, or, I'll wait before exiting the game. It's a long time since any kind of game music has done that, perhaps not since the music of Planescape: Torment. I've also always found that music is what I respond to, more than anything else; often it alone has the ability to pull me from that abyss. What is interesting, though, is that it are precisely the soulful, melancholic tracks that uplift me, perhaps because they're a reminder that I'm not alone in my experience. Now, though, by enhancing FO4's atmosphere with your mods, it becomes a fairly profound experience, especially because I'm inspired to take screenshots that express that which is bleak, but not entirely hopeless.
All of this to say you have indeed succeeded in helping to make FO4 a 'beautiful, honest and soulful experience.'

I agree regarding FO4's lack of meaningful direction, lack of balls to directly say what is only hinted at. That is Bethesda in a nutshell; they've always made sure to play it safe so as to offend nobody... and this severely inhibits their creative potential. I have the hope that maybe one day, through the use of VA Synth, that maybe we'll see the endings reworked, and if such is the case... we have the chance to see FO4 as the masterpiece it might have been. I use the "Danse Dilmemna" mod which at least gives me some flexibility with those endings, but a complete reworking would be amazing...FO4 has so much unfulfilled promise, everywhere I look, and yet... I do still think it is one of Beth's best titles, the other being Morrowind.

Anyway.. I've just rambled on way too much, so I'll leave it there.

Is there a way to make Night Vision work with ENB in FO4? I'm wondering if Enhanced ENB Night Vision from New Vegas nexus could work(as it has no esp), but I'm no ENB expert (will probably try to get it working over the weekend, but maybe you have some experience with that)

You know, that's a good point.  I haven't actually even tested the ENB with nightvision yet.  But I do know that in-game cinematics are enabled.  I played through the opening cutscenes, and the 'fade-to-white' that Bethesda loves to use is still intact.

Love this ENB performance friendly without using the performance friendly option and I wanted the SSAO via ENB as ENB manages it a bit better.

I love this look much better than many enb's out thanks for the release!
