TheFirstEnD and his fantastic "We Are The Minutemen" mod that this mod requires.

(Requires We Are The Minutemen) This mod gives all of the Minutemen a standard issue loadout. Does not affect Preston Garvey or Ronnie Shaw and it does not edit anything other than their loadouts, so it should be compatible with difficulty overhauls.
The loadout consists of a new, craftable Minuteman blue army helmet, MM medium combat chest armor, and combat rifle. About 1/4 of Minutemen will have an automatic assault rifle. Minutemen also have a chance to spawn with patrolman sunglasses, MM bandana, Gas Mask as well as the various types of gloves from the WATM mod.
I also added "Minuteman Dogtags" to every minuteman that are just like the Brotherhood holotags. Now you can reclaim a symbol of your fallen brethren.
Please note, to avoid any inconsistencies I made these loadouts appear from level 1. It shouldn't mess with the balance much early on as you do not see the minutemen for a couple of levels plus they aren't outfitted in an unrealistic way. Future plans consist of possibly having the new loadouts appear only after taking the castle to represent going from a militia to a real force in the wasteland.
(If NMM is giving you issues, just download manually and drag the two folders and the .esp into your Fallout4's "Data" folder)
