"After completing the Vault 88 mission, set up. I built it for power cables and lighting after dropping the nuke bomb, and it worked." Thx.

Is there a way to completely reset Vault 88 caves to their basic state with rocks, rubble and everything? Because i'm using mod that let me scrap literally everything and now i'm lack of some dirt "ramps"... :|

Not sure if there is any support for tis mod.. here goes. anyways.. Great mod, installed fine.. all 3 times.lol.. I missed the water towers and a crane when trashing everything, I did it by hand myself the second run due to the water towers blocking a stairwell.. missed a crane too. the nukeing does not remove them.. My last install was clean, however I still have no power coming from the generator at the water plant.seems the conduits are not working or some other thing.. I am very new to this game and mods for it.. hoping there is a simple - ish solution.. thanks ..

Thanks for the blueprint. It was a joy to explore the vault and see all the work that was put into it while leaving enough room for us to decorate the rooms as we see fit. Not sure if it is a modding issue on my part, but,  I too am having an issue with trying to connect the vault tech water pump to the conduit power.

UPDATE: I figured out why I couldn't connect the pump to the conduit power. Apparently, there were three vault tec pumps in the same spot which prevented the power from being connected. I don't know if this was because the blueprint creates a duplicate pump or because I used another blueprint to replace the original pump that I scrapped, thus creating two duplicates. Either way, there were three pumps in the same spot. You might have only two. Since it didn't give me the scrap option, I had to use the console command "disable" on two of the pumps thus leaving one, which allowed me to successfully connect the wire and get that pump working. If you are going to use the disable function I would highly suggest creating a game save beforehand depending on how many duplicate pumps you have. If you are not familiar with the "disable" function, this is used to remove objects in the game where scrapping is not possible. Simply stand in front of what appears to be the vault-tec water pump while in console command mode (hit the tilde key), click on the pump and a number should appear. Type in the word "disable", without quotes, then hit "enter" and that should remove the duplicate. If the pump appears to still be there, verify that it's not the same pump by clicking on the pump, a new id number should appear. Because I had three pumps, I did this procedure a second time. If you do this procedure again and the pump disappears altogether then you know you removed too many pumps, which is why I highly recommend a game save first.  Hopefully, this fix helps anyone who is having difficulty connecting power to the vault-tec water pump...Also, this fix works for the PC version...not sure how you would use console commands on a gaming system...again, great blueprint!

First of all, thank you for putting in all this work!! It's really pretty amazing!  Aside from some minor issues, the only real problem I seem to have is powering and activating the huge water pump in the back of the vault.  It tells me, obviously, that it needs power, but I cannot seem to figure out how to power it.  I can place a faux power unit on it (provides 1000) power, but that doesn't do anything.  I've activated the reactor near the water pump, which doesn't do anything either, so I am kinda at a loss?  :)   Any help would be great.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS BLUEPRINT UNTIL AFTER YOU FINISH THE VAULT 88 QUESTS. IT BREAKS THEM OTHERWISE, I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY

Providing you do everything correct this mod works 98% you may have to fix 5 pieces missing in the lobby and may have to remove some construction machines and a lime wall. ( about 5 in total, there very obvious ) Other then that its fine. It looks like lots of rooms are left empty ( residentials ) to customize. Impressed it work so smoothly, installation took 10 seconds using Mod Organizer, And even works with the Opus Magnus 750+ Mod List.

EDIT: This post is to confirm that there is in fact nothing wrong with it and you should not experince any crashes. After wondering around for a good 20 minutes I was able to fast travel, come back and it loaded perfectly.

    Thanks for this lovely blueprint!

P.S I also had to add signs towards the classroom! Overall its  about 5-10 minutes of manual work to fix depending how familiar with build mode you are.

I really like this blueprint but the problem I am having is all the settlers are just standing somewhere (e.g. in front of any door) because they can't pass through the door, so when everyone is in the same place it's hard to pass them because they are blocking the way, I don't know why. Then when using a power armor inside the vault it's just weird that when you walk and run you just trip or fall through something every tile and every door way. It's love this blueprint but it's annoying I just want this to get fixed

I know this is an older post, but just incase someone else encounters this issue.. When using Fast Travel or "Magic Travel", as Gopher calls it, the engine generally places NPCs near the Player Character or at least near the Settlement Workbench. Why? Because reasons.. If walking to an exterior settlement, like say County Crossing, The Engine will just Load NPCs in the center of the settlement, where they will then walk to their assigned jobs, like Merchant Counters etc. In the case of Vault 88 and any large build, it can take several minutes for the engine to process the Script Information.. i.e. Settler A) >Farmer< Settler B) >Scavenging< and so on. Oh and plus the distance they need to travel, the pathing logic.. etc. etc.

My point is, it's a lot of data for the Game Engine to manage and it was never designed for "Us Builders" or rather builds that are massive or simply complicated in general. "We" were never meant to build the way we do, hence the nature of the basic layouts of most shack designs in the base game.. sorry I have more to say, but I don't want to bore you guys with the details <3

My recommendation to everyone, Use Settler Sandbox Expansion. I've used it for years and it's available on All Platforms! It's not magic but it helps.. for real though!

Settler Sandbox Expansion at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

      P.S.

You can never go wrong with the old tried and true Sleep To Teleport NPCs to their assigned locations. It usually works. The Developers never fully Navmeshed the entire V88 Interior Cell. When you sleep, the game will teleport NPCs past the Non-Navmeshed Areas (usually).. just a tip. If you want NPCs to stay at the alternate entrance and exits, like the manhole or old store, you need to either give them jobs that require them to stay 24-7, like guard duty AND you need give them beds in that area as well. They still may wander off to play with the slot machine or get a drink at the soda fountain too.. but what are you gonna do.. go adventure and kill stuff I guess! lol (OCD Works For Me)

Is it normal for one's game to freeze when quick saving?
After everything was finalized, and I got the message to not immediately scrap or built, or assign settlers to jobs, etc. I attempted to quick save, and my game froze. I couldn't even alt-tab to the desktop. I had to control-alt-delete and sign out.

Of course, I made a proper save before initiating the transfer, so no harm done. I tried again, except I made the mistake of not remain at the vault 88 until everything was done. Came back to find that less that 10% of the vault had transferred, even though I didn't log out until I got the message reporting success.

I use a lot of blueprints myself and the game freezes for me as well if I try to save while in the settlement right after building. The work around for me is to go on foot quite a distance from the settlement before saving then it seems to work fine. Also if I try to fast travel from the settlement i get a ctd. But I'm running a lot of mods though 265 at last count.

yeh when you transfer such a big settlement it will freeze for a few minutes, then it will be back to normal after that, for me it takes about 10 minutes for it to sort its self out
