For people wondering how to configure Zebrina's Workshop Devices using the Pip-Boy, I made a one minute video about it. If you use Armorsmith, you must create the Engineer's Tool at the Weaponsmith Workbench under the 'Workshop' category, if you do not use Armorsmith you must create it at the Chemistry Workbench. Then equip the tool as a weapon and walk up to the item you want to configure, for my keyboard you press R to configure and then just make your choices :)
Are some doors only openable by the ID card? Like the concrete framed doors, they don't seem to accept power and placing buttons on them does nothing :c
I just found the remote activation switch; it doesn't seem to work :c
Some of the doors don't work with wiring and some won't work with the card reader. What's more annoying is that I can't get the tension triggers to work with the mechanical doors :c
is there any way to edit the height the elevator can go up and down in XEdit? After a certain height, when i press the call button the elevator just goes back up or isn't responding at all.
The limitation is model/animation related. For the yellow lift it's something like 8192 in-game units and the others it's a lot less I think. It's not something that is easily changed or atleast it's not something I could easily change.
Hmm ... I'm trying to find the powered extendable catwalks as shown in the author's image gallery. However, all five entries that I see in the Bridges category say that they work with a Remote Activation Switch (RAS).
Digging in the posted comments, I see that the author removed powered items five years ago. Urk.
Unfortunately, as I want 1) my settlements to have control of the operation of some bridges and doors in response to attacks, and 2) to export the settlement as a Transfer Settlements Blueprint for others, the RAS doesn't seem like a useful option.
Is there any possibility of these being restored, either as part of the main package, or as an addon?
