Wow! I must say it's an honour to have contact with Oxhorn of all people!
From what I understand, his mod adds a script that converts cores into their own type of core and the Gatling Laser (and possibly Power Armour) uses that instead of an actual FC. Mine is much simpler, I just forced the Gatling Laser receivers to increase their ammo count as they're upgraded. The drawback of this approach is the fact that the Gatling Laser WILL produce partial cores at lower upgrade levels and/or if you switch weapons/reload often. I also have no idea if they can be used in tandem, feel free to test it and get back to me.
Hey, Oxhorn, thought I'd let you know that my mod IS compatible with IDontEvenKnow's mod. If you turn his ammo fix off, it'll use my ammo numbers and, instead of generating a string of partially depleted cores, it'll just run the same core through until it's used up properly.
a really good idea to fix the issue that i havent seen done yet is to make a simple crafting recipe. turn cores into core parts, then the parts back into cores. a core with 54/100 charge would give 54 parts, 100 parts would make a fully charged core.
im not a modder, so idk how easy this is, but i imagine it wouldnt be difficult.
what did you do to change the ammo it carrys among other things? i was thinking about also adding no spin up (also for mini guns) while making the lazier mini guns also quite. (light manks no sound xD) u just see it for miles.. xD lol unless its invisible
I opened the CK (an unstable, buggy piece of software if I've ever used one) and added "iammocount" to the receivers then figured out the percentage increases I needed to achieve the desired ammunition counts when using the "MUL+ADD" function.

Should I pick one, or does your mod work alongside his?
