Same. No voice lines, no progress. Fixed it eventually though! Saved outside the factory, installed bug fix, load, console: "resetquest DN050", "startquest DN050", went inside "setstage DN050 10". The first voice line plays and stage gets set to 15 automatically, but here it got stuck again. So inside the room (radio plays) "setstage DN050 20" and you can continue normally all the way to the end! Took me hours but satisfying my ocd was so worth it.
I can confirm, this worked. But I didn't go outside the building. I stayed in the same room the whole time. Install mod, go in the first room and reset quest, start quest.. and all the rest
Thank you so much. This quest being bugged was starting to get the mildly autistic teenager that I am very worked up, but your solution fixed it. I am incredibly grateful
Literally all you did was delete the DNAM General flag of "Run Once". The Unofficial FO4 Patch left it in. :( Which makes you a genius in my opinion. lol. Thank you so much for this!!! It works perfectly. I think the first time I did this quest, I just used the console to turn off clipping and I walked through all the doors to grab everything. Hahaha. This time, I wanted to do it right! Thanks! <3 Just gonna merge this esp into another, so I'll save a plugin spot and have this fix for the future. Awesome. Endorsed!!
Strange. I had thousands of hours in FO4 and stumbling across this bug-fix is the first time ever I heard about this side-quest. Will keep an eye out when entering the General Atomics Factory for the very first time in my next run-through.
I Chose to compare this with the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch-4598-2-0-0 And it contained no record for DN050 "General Atomics Factory" [QUST:00045770] In other words, even Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch needs a patch?
Wow, I was certain this was in the UF4P. 2.0 is their latest listed version, so if that's what you used I need to revise my description or UF4P users are going to see this, think "Meh, the unofficial patch already covers this." and be pissed when they find out later it doesn't...
I'm not so sure. The reason I missed it was that I was hurrying through the Automatron DLC, which sends you to the General Atomics factory to kill a robobrain. I just did what I needed to and left without checking the back corner of the lowest level. I'm willing to bet this happened to quite a few Automatron users.
I left the General Atomics Factory cuz it seemed too "Quest-y" and I was just wandering about. Didn't realize I screwed up the mini quest by doing that till like 100 hours later when I decided to complete Automatron. Started a new play-through so I don't need it now, but I would have if I didn't.
Thanks for this fix. I had to lookup how to finish this quest because I was in that room for like 5 minutes straight trying to figure out how to punish timmy. hah.

Edit: Worked perfectly! For anyone having difficulties, try going out the door, typing the command, and then going back in.

because they may have just completed it in 1 go.
Until today i didn't even notice it was an unmarked quest.
First time i completed the dlc i thought it was part of the dlc so i did it.
