This idea has been knocking around in my head since probably two weeks after Fallout 4 launched. 5mm is horribly scarce (You pretty much have to buy it, and even then it takes several vendors to get enough to use it properly) and .38 is worthless and abundant (Every gun that converts to .38 becomes piddly and useless, and rightly so)

Two Birds, One Stone.

This mod adds a new Tri-Barrel modification (It is not a replacer! The original mods are still there, and still use 5mm!) that fires .38 instead of 5mm. It has a lower fire rate (About as slow as I could make it before the animation started looking silly, which isn't terribly slow) but higher damage output than the original Tri-Barrel. (Meaning those playing in survival wont need to carry as much ammo, since its much heavier than 5mm!)

Since its a larger, heavier bullet, firing slower, I thought it would be fun to change the sound effect of the shot as well. Make it feel "meatier" (I love slow, meaty machine guns, like old timey gatling guns from the civil war.) however I also understand some people might not want that, or find certain sounds annoying at such a high fire rate, so I made four versions with my favorites during testing: Pipe Revolver, 44, 10mm, Pipe Pistol/Rifle, and Standard Minigun. Thanks to Potaties for telling me which combination of keywords is required for the pipe auto sfx.

This mod is compatible with any weapon balancing mods [shamelessplug]Like mine![/shamelessplug] but possibly not any mods that add new modifications to the minigun.

**As of 1.1 the mod now creates its own misc item so you can reattach the tri-barrel and .38 barrel without issues. (Small oversight on my part, it was sharing the misc item with the Tri-Barrel, and only allowing itself to be attached with the item!)

The .38 Sfx version of this mod has been bundled into my new mod "Rechambered" Adding more ammo conversion mods like this to Fallout 4, this version will no longer be supported should any updates be made, but will be left up for those who want it.
