You can find the latest version of ENBseries for Fallout 4 at this page on the ENBdev website. ENBseries for Fallout 4
Current Notes Version 1.3 is now available. A change log is available on the mod page. It has some small changes and fixes, but nothing major.
For extra performance, you can disable SSAO from enbseries.ini. However, the recommended shadow mods will cause a big FPS hit, proportionate to your shadow quality settings.
With all these changes, there's bound to be something that goes wrong somewhere, so please post if you encounter any issues.
Old Notes Version 1.2 is now available. A change log is available on the mod page. It adds in histogram-based adaptation by kingeric1992 on the ENB forums, which is a new type of adaptation based on a technique used in many commercial games. It provides better results than the previous solution, so try it out! Also included is a port of Ring DoF, for your screenshotting needs. Like Light DoF, it includes temporal jittering for extra quality. Note that you can increase the quality settings from the effect file. Version 1.1 is now available. A change log is available on the mod page. The most notable change is exposure adaptation, which should account for those dangerous dark nights and suspiciously sunny days. If it causes any issues, you can currently toggle it off in the ENB menu. Also included is Light DoF. This has many fancy features, like random jittering that takes advantage of TAA's antialiasing properties. Great for screenshots!
For those having brightness/darkness issues, I've released a modified version of this ENB which fully utilizes ENB Adaption to help fix this(setting a stricter max and minimum brightness). I was having issues with areas being way too dark or bright (not entirely sure why TBH) so I made my own version and decided to release it on Nexus to help others. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/62296. I recommend backing up your existing ENB before using this one. This might not be for everyone.
I followed your guide but everywhere I go, it looks like it's going to rain any time soon despite being blue skies. The colours also look very washed out and all seem to blend in. How can I make mine look as vibrant as yours?
You can adjust nigt intensity. Check setting in ini. If it's set to lets say .30 then adjust higher by increments of .10 until achieved desired brightness/darkness. Same applies for interiors. Also, you can perhaps adjust night darkness and ambiance as well.
