OK Folks asked for it... and it took more time then I want to admit, but I've figured out how to make the BASE LINING constructable as an option!!!!
It required a number of new Keywords, added to both the base lining, the base armor etc.
To prevent Overboss Colter from Spawning with No-ChainMesh as default (Cannot figure out why it was happening) I added temp rules as well.
As a Bonus I've added a Jetpack for the Power Armor as well, making sure the clipping was at a minimum and lined up the best I could.
******************Update*********************** 1.1 Fix uploaded, sorry I goofed and missed a folder in the tree when I zipped it super early this morning! 1.2 Fix uploaded, if you care I'll explain the problem, if not, great! 1.5 Fixed Meshes 1.6 New ESP, gives you buildable BASE linings 1.8 . Includes 2 Jetpacks (Thanks to Jerros), Keyword optimized, repacked into a BA
Suggestions: -Making it craftable.. I'm adding it as a second craftable 2 Legendary Modification version, should be up tonight on my other page (09/03/16).
Creating it as a craftable option for the base armor is a little more complicated as the PA does not have that as a modable slot, and adding it to the lining upgrades would be possible, but would conflict with a couple other Power Armor mods, most especially "Raider Overhaul
Missing Textures? (2 Different fixes Confirmed to work for many)
First: It has helped with many of the console players. -Go into the crafting menu in the Power Armor Station, and switch linings (If chain free switch to chain) -Did the chain mesh show? -Go into the crafting menu in the Power Armor Station, and switch linings back to chain free -Did the Chain free mesh show?
This forces the game to reload the "OMOD" which has the Mesh linked to it.
If that didn't work: Try 1.7 which is loose files or the steps below. We are seeing reports on a number of Nexus mods that one or more Textures are not loading, it seems FO4 is hitting a wall of BAK's it can pull from, below is a quick guide.
I don't know who or where to ask, so if anyone sees this and can point me in the right direction, thanks in advance.
I'd really like to have faction paint jobs for the raider power armour, mainly the Overboss but the regular and horse variants would be welcome too.
To me it would make sense that a Minuteman that liberates Nuka World would paint the set in their scheme. A power armour enthusiast, maybe Brotherhood or Atom Cat, would paint the set in their scheme. An Institute director who wants to test on the Packs animals, recruit Kellogg replacements from the Disciples or have the Operators do experiments deemed too risky to be done within the institute- would paint the set in their scheme to say not only am I the Director, Agent, Knight or General, but I am the Nuka World Overboss. I also feel like Commonwealth, Forged, Rust Devil, Trapper, Pack, Operator and Disciple paints/decals (Gunner? Tessa's Fist) would be a great and logical fit for Raider Power Armour.
I have assultdragon's All Factions paint job mod for the raider power armour, and when I installed this mod, all the paints from his mod now also work on the Overboss PA. Is this intended? I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just curious.
Lemme start by saying that i only figured how to install Vortex because of your mod, its really nicely done especially the cut torso version, i always felt that huge plate was too thin and didnt make much sense imo for protective purposes(maybe makes sense while colt uses it because of his "energy shield") that being said though this mod is very old and i likely wont get a answer but thats not a problem
My question is: is it posible to add normal raider armor rebar face protection to the cut out overboss armor torso? those rebars that go in front of your face in normal raider power armor, i think those look really cool and still allows you to see overboss armor helmet
What do I have to do to only get the version from the second picture (the one with the stop sign) without a complete overhaul of raiders. I just want the Overboss PA to look better (and yeah, keep the mesh )
It's great to see mods that give love to (mostly) unappreciated Raider apparel and gadgets, kudos for that! Would it be difficult to create an optional file that was a simple re-texture (no crafting involved) of the whole Overboss Power Armor set without the chain mesh? I tried to do this myself for my own uses (I would never steal credit for someone else's hard work) but I wasn't able to to open your .esp files in FO4Edit no matter how I tried to arrange my master files. It's also somewhat surprising that there are no standalone Jetpack mods for Raider Power Armours that include Nuka-World content. I'm sure a good handful of people would love those.
I understand if you don't have the time or desire to help me since I'm not using your core mod(s), but thanks anyway, if you read this. Keep up the good work.
Sorry for the delayed response, have had my head burried in some major updates for Raider Overhaul / Super Mutant Redux and it's gotten me a little distracted.
Nexus has been super slow for me, but uploading a plugin free version now!

A 60+ Post wall of text was removed regarding porting the mod to XboxOne, how much BethNet sucks, and general troubleshooting.
I removed it because it took me 5 mousewheels to get to new comments and it was driving me nuts, thanks to those that helped.

Misdirected rant over.
But such a mod has since been made with my input.
