I may be a little late to the party but I just wanted to add my thanks on this one. This issue was driving me up the wall and I play with a few mods so it never even occurred to me the issue would be a vanilla one until I stumbled across this mod.
This definitely worked for me. I also have cross-settler going on from " Don't Call Me Settler" so I think I managed to recruit a mainlander as a doctor. I could test with the more obvious Far Harbor settler types though.
Thanks for creating this. It was really annoying me that there was no way to get treatment from a settlement doctor.
Just wondering about a big problem I've having though: my settlement doctor doesn't actually speak with the mod installed. He make the motions like he's saying something, but there is no mouth movement and no speech.
After he gets done "trying" to speak I do get the dialog tree options to request treatment that I hadn't been getting previously, but the NPC does not speak.
Is there supposed to be speech, or does this mod only address the dialog tree problem?
I think it might be because the NPC has a voice type that doesn't match with the list of recorded dialogue lines. If you could; please post a picture of the character's face.
Really? If that is the case then it would be better for me to remove it. Can you confirm for your save that a settler that is native to Far Harbor and assigned to the clinic can offer their services?
I don't thik you should remove it, just because it doesn't happen to me doesn't mean it wont happen to anyone else, same happen with that settlement called i belived county crossing that caused crashes with automatron dlc. well never had it, but ton's of people did.
The Automatron DLC crash is caused by having a UI mod. If, like me, you don't have any mods, the map icon for the Mechanist's lair causes no problems. However, apparently there's something internal about how the icon works that, if you have a UI mod, it'll crash.
It makes me wonder if the issue addressed by this mod is ultimately caused by some conflict somewhere, or some unintentional side-effect of certain mods, a-la the vertibird height data issue.

To the mod author: thank you very much for wiping Bethesda's dirty asshole
Very useful to cure the diseases in survival and not having to run to the doctor in Far harbor being at the opposite side.
Big thanks :)

I have this problem and I'm glad you fixed it because every time I come back from exploring Far Harbor I need a doctor
