Deep Down - Quest Review in Description
Episode 2 - Deep Down is the awkwardly titled sequel to america1995's prior quest "Family Troubles."
The quest is very by the numbers, having a basic plot and no branching to speak of; it mostly serves as bookends to the quest's Dungeon, which is by far where america1995's talent shines.
The Dungeon features very high quality set design. america1995's attention to detail in the environment feels every bit as good if not better than the average of Vanilla content. No unusually furniture-barren rooms or empty bookshelves here, these interiors are excellently cluttered with tasteful lighting to boot while still being functional for gameplay.
Gameplay wise, it's your standard "Find the key" affair with basic enemies strewn about and a boss fight to cap off the experience. Most players will probably find the encounters a bit on the easy side, but I find that acceptable. Better easy than absurdly difficult.
But the excellent set design, again, keeps you from getting too bored, and makes it easy to stay interested in seeing the next area.
The Quest is functional, the dungeon is well crafted, voicing the player character is unforgivable.
