I know this is a giant necro, but I figure the information is relevant for anyone else looking for this.
This mod Better Console F4SE is the closest we'll ever see to the Skyrim MFG Console. I've been using this for quite a while and it's fantastic. He's also consistently updated it every time Bethesda forces another useless update on us, and does so relatively quickly.
Such a great mod. Thanks very much. It really helped me since I am playing with a low res monitor and I could only see a small portion of console comand.
Is there a way to tweak or customize this? For instance, I like the improvements but don't want the console to take up the whole screen like that - maybe half?
Can it be disabled at all? Or redefined to another key? I dont want to use the console and it conflicts with my favourive TeamSpeak push-to-talk button. I remember FNV had such mod. ty
Don't think you can change what key to open the console with, but you can disable it by switching "bAllowConsole=1" to "bAllowConsole=0" in fallout4.ini under [general]
Thank you for your answer, but this doesnt seem to work, tried this parameter under different ini-sections in both fallout4.ini and fallout4prefs.ini with no result (console is still active). I actually did some research and it seems like this parameter is not being used by fallout4 engine, it was assumed to, since skyrim was using it and ppl included it in their guides for tweaking fallout4.... so some of those were inherited, but bAllowConsole probably wasnt. Ive googled many topics about NOT working console and bAllowConsole never was an issue, but it was different key button for different keyboard layout. --- actually ive asked same question in original BetterConsole mod board, now i have to double post those answers
Ah then I dunno if you can disable it or not really :/ as that was the only thing really pointing to disabling the console.. yea for other keyboard layouts the console key may be different, since I only have one type of keyboard layout (qwerty) it works by pressing the ` button.. sorry mate
thats in the base game,just click on the item and use attachmod with the legendary attachment code, for instance
attachmod 001cc2ad will give the selected gun the "two shot" legendary effect

Edit:this does NOT allow you to put multiple legendary stats on something,the previous will be removed when you apply a new one,and don't put "auto fire" on any weapon but a laser musket unless you want a broken looking gun
Enjoy I just updated the mod again which added 2 more commands. showspecialmenu which brings up the specials so you can edit them if you want to change them and showlooksmenu which let's you change your characters appearance.
Is there any way to allow commands like player.setlevel 1, my character is level 19 but I want to move the leveling around and I was wondering if there was any way of unlocking it? Thank you!
