Damanding has agreed to take over future development of Homemaker! He'll be primarily uploading on Bethnet, but I'll be making sure the versions stay current here as well. Version 1.74 contains a lot of QOL improvements, bug fixes, new and better snap points, mod integrations (like Do It Yourshelf) and more! Version 1.75 contains new prewar content by Gloolax. 1.76 Contains yet more pre-war content from Gloolax and MunkySpunk. Fog Condensers are being worked on, but were shelved from this release due to an issue with materials.

For those having issues with the new update: The problems people seem to be having seem to be tied to existing saves, or not having SMM installed. Install SMM, run the SMM holotape menu fix option in game. Then install the Homemaker Menu Fixer in the optional files.
Likely an issue with the install of the mod. Using whichever mod manager you use, try uninstalling then reinstalling the mod. Or you can manually drop the mod files into the Fallout 4 data folder so it will fill in the missing files.
Only other thing I can think of is using the Conquest mod to build indoors. Some indoor cells wont allow for settlement building. You can place objects down, but theyll either be invisible or be completely gone.
is there any way to get the prefab houses to be recognized as "shelter" because the rain clips and falls right through it. But when I go into one of the destroyed houses the rain goes away... so sadly the prefab houses are kinda useless =(
I kept getting crashes, and using buffout and crash logs, that stacktrace -always- ended with homemaker.esm. I don't know why its doing it, but its doing it.
When you see 'fallout.exe->4X645367+2345' (that's made up btw) in the crash logs, the first few digits are the Mod ID. 0C was homemaker.esm for me, and I cannot for the life of me get why it would cause any issue, considering nothing else touches the objests. I had a single armoie and the doors built at Red Rocket, then any attempt to go into that cell would kill F4. I built some concrete walls in Sancruary. Worked fine while I was there, when I came back? CTD, 0C mod identifier in the stack each time.
I dunno if that's enough to help figure out why some people are having these issues, but I am definitely going to try the slightly older versions that people have said works, because this looks amazing and what I saw of it was amazing.
Same here. Rolled back from 1.76 to 1.75. No other changes. Works great on 1.75. Switch to 1.76: seems to just not load, or load missing meshes, or crashes. Bizarre. Tried on new game with the same results.
@Galadhriell - You have to uninstall the current version that you have installed for Homemaker. Then you come back to Homemaker mod page, click on Files and scroll down until you see the Old Files section. Then you pick a version that is older than the previous version you had installed and install that one. Just make sure you pick the Mod Manager download option and not the manual download option, as that will make it easier to install in Nexus for you. Hope that helps! :)
I got this working... awesome add on!! I had this mod years ago (maybe it was an addon) but, I could craft flat screen tvs, glass walls, solar power sources, futuristic structures. Is that this mod?
I dont think so. Sounds like stuff thats from "Settlement Objects Expansion Pack" mod. There are tons of these types of mods and it can be difficult to keep track of what is where lol
I had this issue as well, reinstall the file in vortex and when the first option pops up click "Homemaker - Main Version (preset)" that seems to have added homemaker.esm
Not really directly related, but I was wondering what the Main Version option was, it isn't exactly documented so I decided to scour the comments before I installed it. Thank you McdonaldWifi420.
For some reason whenever i place down decorations from the electronics tab they wont appear later and other decorations start not appearing in the menus
For some reason a lot of the walls and structures are invisible for me, and I can't get them to show up. Anyone have any ideas? I did the Menu rescue, and some stuff shows up but most of it doesn't.
There is a way to make AutoDoors compatible again with Homemakers? On AutoDoors Patches, but seems stuck at 1.72 version... After installing that, the games detect AutoDoors, but i cannot craft or summon the objects anymore. The category of that mod simply disappeared, any clues?

I hope this helps :D
Edit: I went back to v1.73 and Homemaker is working again.
