Now Updated for version 1.2 of Wasteland Melody's Chinese Assault Rifle!
Patch for Wasteland Melody's Chinese Assault Rifle V1.2 requires New Calibers Version 3Beta or higher.
ChineseAK-NC-Patch Version 1.1
Version 1.1 of the New calibers Patch now has a total of 14 Caliber options!
Calibers included:
7.62x39mm,
5.45x39mm,
9x39mm,
5.56x45mm,
.300Blackout,
.223 Remington,
.308 Winchester,
7.62x51mm NATO,
FN5.7x28mm,
7.62x25mm Tokarev,
.30 Mauser,
5.8x42mm DBP87,
as well as .410 and 20 Gauge Shotgun!
The update also changes the recipe requirements for craft to use the new Barrel sets and Conversion kits including in New Calibers V3
I have also added a modcol file so the weapon will spawn with a random caliber. All caliber variations will spawn on enemies
New Caliber Conversion patch for Chinese Assault Rifle.
This patch adds New Caliber Compatibility to the Chinese Assault rifle made by Wasteland Melody, as well as tweak a few traits.
First: It changes the Default ammo type to the 5.45x39mm ammo from New Calibers.
Second: It changes the 5mm receiver to a Marksman Receiver, with high damage and range, but lower rate of fire.
Third: This patch adds a separate caliber conversion category to the weapons workbench modding menu.
The Caliber Conversion Category has 7 calibers to choose from including 5 added with the New Calibers mod by BrowncoatGarrus.
Each Caliber is balanced for unique damage, range, rate of fire, and even ammo capacity on two of them.
Current available Calibers include: 5.56mm, 7.62x39mm, 5.45x39mm, 9x39mm, .300 Blackout, 7.62x25mm Tokarev, and 5mm
(note: 5mm ammo is renamed FN5.7x28mm with New Calibers 2.2 and newer. Caliber option is labeled FN 5.7x28mm in mod menu)
