so, my game refuse to let me learn awareness 2. which kind of cripples me from learning a lot of skills. but it might be a mod collision making it happen. does lvl 2 require anything exceptr than lvl 1 awareness? my tooltip claims it doesn't but if a tooltip is the only thing missing i won't have to uninstall the mod and possibly restart the game, which would be nice.
other than that, i like the mod although being unable to get scrapper until lvl 40 makes my game pretty hard (i think i messed up my leveled spawn install... i get glowing ones leading large packs randomly spawning from lvl 1)
I am also having this issue, which messes up my sniper build a bit. Otherwise, this is a great way to play the game. Your choice of perk now matters. So please, is there a fix to this?
There's a version of traitorous perks on Bethesda.Aids, Just thought I would let you know in case that it wasn't actually you who posted it. DDproductions has a rant video that among other things that has some advise on getting stolen mods, such as filing a copyright claim with zenimax. Currently testing this out on a new character. I like the idea a lot, for creating more differentiated builds, but the gateway is too high for a few basic perks. e.g. I want gun nut, which I always get early on for every character, but first I need scrapper, which makes sense, but before that I need awareness? That, I don't get.
Tweaking a few things is on my list of to do things.
I went with awareness being a requirement for a lot of the perks due to its name suggesting an element of intelligence.
So you need Awareness to notice the nuts and bolts holding the weapons together, Scrapper teaches you to take them apart and Gun Nut lets you put them back together.
I'm looking at the level requirements, the paths linking each perk, and hopefully figuring out a solution to the limited character space in the descriptions.
Since some require a bit of lateral thinking to guess why I did them.
How did you make the the SPECIAL requirements go away? I tried to do that on the first day the CK came out and when ever I try, the perk get's replaced with 'Strength Training' or ends up in the first row on top of the other perks.
Edit: I figured it out by looking at your mod. I kept changing the first ">=" after I duplicated it. But now I know to leave the first check alone.
This is an interesting concept, and definitely increases the replayability of the game, and removes the "Jack of all trades" characters that Bethesda games are famous for.
Nice idea!
*EDIT*, LOL! just spotted the character name, "Perky McPerkface"
Yeah good old perky what a life he had getting all the way to sanctuary hitting level 540 without doing anything and I'd like to think he spent his last hours crying in the corner of Shauns room before I deleted him.
Glad to see overhauls like this are being implemented finally. I'll download and test it on a new character, though I'll probably wait for DDproductions or T3endos overhaul.

Thank's anyways.
Gunslinger and Iron Fist are working on a Cowboy theme
Commando and Big Leagues because BL controls knives
Rifleman and basher for the bayonet link.
