This mod add 1 OR 3 magazines -> Prospector Handbook! OR Secret of the Scrappers! #1,2,3
If you find them, you can: salvage components like plastic, steel, wood, rubber etc. from object in the entire Commonwealth without dependence on any workshop.
Changing the location of magazine #1 was caused by modifications that govern buildable areas (Scrappings mod, buildings mods).
Each magazine add perk Secret of the Scrappers! (Prospector Handbook! gives all of them via one book)
Magazine #1
You can salvage components like plastic, steel, wood etc. from simple objects (outfits, plastic bins, etc.) in the entire Commonwealth without dependence on any workshop.
Magazine #2
You can salvage components like plastic, steel, wood etc. from complex objects (cars, armors, common weapons, etc.) in the entire Commonwealth without dependence on any workshop.
Magazine #3
You can salvage components like plastic, steel, wood etc. from ultracomplex objects (power armors, superior weapons, etc.) in the entire Commonwealth without dependence on any workshop.
HOTKEY activator - can enable/disable mod function.
Settings via Holotape - can disable/enable function of entire magazines, for "clutter" is possible choose if object is after salvage destroyed or not.

Boxs - Cardboard Boxs, Office paper boxs, Plastic Bins
Obstacles - Construction Barriers, Sawhorses, Traffic Cone, Mannequins, Trash Cans, moveable Barrels, moveable Robot parts, Tricycles, Shopping Carts, Gurneys, Baby Carriage, Picture Frames
Armor - almost any (unique not)
Weapons - range - every type
Weapons - melee - every type
Outfits - any
Hats - any
Small hint: Some book is located somewhere nearby Vault 111 (hint picture available).
