For me, extracting the files and enabling the mod ingame was not enough, I had to edit Fallout4Custom.ini to enable loose file modding. Also I only have F4SE, Address Library, Achievements Mods Enabler and MCM Beta.
In general, any mod that uses an .esp will block achievements. Only safe mods are ones that replace textures via loose files or visual overlays like ENB or Reshade. If you are going to use mods however, there is a mod to re-enable achievements while using mods.
Does the mod just point the default locations on the map, or it really "tracks" them? if it's the first, i guess it wont work with mods that randomize collectibles.
I uninstalled this mod shortly after install and reverted to an earlier save (before the mod was installed) and I get instant CTD when I load the game. All files are removed from the Data folder so I don't understand what is causing the problem but only installing this mod fixes the CTD.
EDIT: a PC reboot seemed to fix the issue. When I tried to reboot initially, my laptop indicated that the "fallcomplete app was preventing shutdown" so I had to force it to restart. Does that mean this mod was running scripts even after exiting F4 and uninstalling the mod? That doesn't sound good....
I'd like to know how to find the loadorder for the mod since I'm trying to spawn the holotape in with console, either I've severely misplaced it or it didn't spawn in my inventory with my current playthrough's customstart.
The game crashes when loading any save after installing, playing a bit by getting and tracking all the magazines, but crashed and now it does not load with the mod installed, i can load a previous save with no problems when unistall.
This mod removes a lot of precombine data from locations it edits, and doesn't forward changes from Unofficial Patch to objects it edits - that will lower performance and could be a source of conflicts and even crashes if you don't fix it up yourself. I recommend using something else - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44924 seems well made and does no changes to the world making it conflict-free by design.
This mod shouldn't do that, it's main feature is same as UOC - create the quest which will show da wae. Also side quest tracking, so there shouldn't be any cell edits, because it doesn't add any items into cells(or chages positions).
Yeah, now FC is a bit old, although I used it a lot. Had to uninstall it to get rid of some minor cell precomb issues/edits, place's names wrong translations etc...
The mod mentioned in original post. "Ultimate Object Collecter". And that appears to be a vastly superior version to this. The proximity detector alone is golden (although I have one in "LOOT Detector(TM)" already)
And agreed, FallComplete removes a lot references to meshes and precombines. Although the meshes and precombines stay untouched, removing refrences can lead to instability unpredictability of the system. He should have properly copied the original records WITH refrences. It's a shame FO4Edit doesnt flag this as a conflict...
However if you look under the bug reports it seems we have a guardian angel, cheers IDEK :)

Whatever the intent of the mod, it does make the cell edits mentioned.
