Hi, there are some way to reduce size of the jatpack? Its functional the way it has to be but is ugly like hell. I think personal jetpack mod has perfect size but is very bugged on my system. Fallout 4 is a videogame, jetpack is not needed to have some kind of realism.
If you're on PC you can open your pipboy, drop the jetpack on the ground, then open the console and select the pack and then followed by:
setscale x
where x is 1 by default and 0.5 is half the size. Sadly I don't know of any console mods capable of doing this, but I really do wonder now I think about it - there possibly is.
just a FYI for those looking...If you are using "Place Everywhere" you can use #s 1 and 3 on the number pad to change the scale of any object you highlight...the / and * on the number pad change the rate at which the object enlarges or shrinks, 5% at a time or 50% at a time.
I wasn't able to get this mod to work on my pc. When I activated the mod my character wouldn't move and I couldn't hit escape had to alt tab out of the game. I only have 2 other mods one is for settlement attacks one is for the power armor omnidirectional light. Possible conflict? But not sure why it would. I had to disable it then the game worked normally.
I like this mod, but I would recommend to anyone that uses this mod to make sure your character is immune to fall damage, or else your character will likely die or get very hurt, even in circumstances where it doesn't seem they would. One method that works for me is to use the console on both pieces of your leg armor to give them the "Freefall Legs" effect. Essentially, you drop both leg pieces on the ground, and use the command console "amod 00093BBD" on each one. For more detail, see the following links:
Craft it, then you have to upgrade it at an armor workbench.
Then you should just be able to fly normally by holding, or repeatedly tapping, jump.
I also strongly recommend that anyone using this uses xEdit to change the second mod for the jetpack to entirely remove fall damage, instead of just reducing it by 60 percent.
Makes it a lot more fun, and less frustrating, to use.
Thanks for this. I would have taken a sweet minute to figure that one out. I know I should use xedit but I've been using Godmode tethered to a Hotkey (Ultimate AP and 0 fall damage). Let me try it out first heh.
Hi, just wondered if there's any way to have the jetpack under the utility tab that's already there. I've opened the mod in FO4Edit but not too sure if there's anything I can do, thanks.
