SummaryThis mod attempts to vary the distribution of Power Armors throughout the game, as Bethesda has, once again, made one type of armor appear almost exclusively throughout the game, and it makes even less sense this time than it did in Fallout 3.
This adjusts the leveled lists for all types of BOS, Atom Cats, and Military Power armor, which previously only existed for T-60, to use all 4 types of power armor (T-45, T-51, T-60, & X-01). This means that every single member of the Brotherhood (except
Paladin Safety Danse if we want to) and Atom Cats can spawn with any type of level appropriate power armor (and
leave our friends behind) (except Raider).
Thanks to
Consistent Power Armor Overhaul (which is
required), we have gorgeous paints for the non-T-60 armors, that mesh in perfectly with the default paints, for both the BOS and Atom Cats.
I had to edit the T-45, T-51, and X-01 Power Armors in order to get them to apply the paints when added to the leveled lists. This means incompatibility with any other mods that edit the armor base forms. I have provided a patch for
Impervious Power Armour, as I personally use it. There aren't very many mods that conflict at the moment, so you should be pretty safe.
They should spawn with armor of the correct rank as well. Knight-Captains will have armor painted for the rank and so on. Due to some serious fucking stupidity and laziness by Bethsoft, the random leveled grunts will not use ranked armor, and will just use knight painted armor. This isn't currently fixable, but I will do my best to fix it once the GECK descends to us mere mortals. Named NPC's should all use correctly painted armor though, so there's that.
I have spent a good deal of time, trying to integrate this in the most compatible, and most seamless manner possible, I think I have gotten it working the best it can at the moment (due to the lack of GECK).
Features- Randomized Power Armor for all major factions, no more T-60 exclusivity
