Has anyone else had an issue running this Mod on Vortex?  I get this message

Incompatible Archives Underground Hideout DLC V7-2:

UndergroundHideout.bsa - is loaded by UndergroundHideout.esp, but is intended for use in Oblivion.

Is this just a Vortex problem?

Yes, technically everyone who uses Vortex has that pop up. You can ignore it, it falsely detects it as an Oblivion mod but its obviously for Fallout 3. 100 hours ignoring the notices and no problems for me.

The display room with lights shining down on empty counter space is for you to drop and manually move items to display. You can use another mod FENG SHUI to help adjust items with pinpoint accuracy and to lock them in place so they can't get knocked over. The weapon racks are as simple as pressing your interact button on them and adding weapons to the rack's inventory. As long as they are a compatible weapon (make sure you use Custom and DLC racks for their respective weapons) it will automatically appear once you exit the interface.

I also got the notification that "UndergroundHideout.bsa - Is loaded by UndergroundHideout.esp, but is intended for use in Oblivion." The Vortex warning didn't happen until after I used LOOT and the T6M Vanilla.esp was placed below the UndergroundHideout.esp. If I Disabled the T6M Vanilla it would also trigger the warning. The odd thing is with the T6M mod uninstalled, no warning was triggered when I installed the Underground Hideout mod. I'm at a loss.
    Edit
Since my initial post I've had other mods interact with Underground Hideout causing Vortrex to trigger "is intended for Oblivion.".
Mods without any connection I can see. DALCO Fixes for UH weas fine while DALCO Fixes for Wadsworth wasn't. I also found that xCalibr was subject to this same phenomenon. I'll leave it to better minds than mine to figure it out.

Hi guys I had a question about this mod. I am doing a one-and-only 100% completion (or as close as it gets) run of Fallout 3 to tick it off my "replaying games from my childhood that I was never mature enough to properly experience", and part of that is collecting one of each item (weapons, armor, etc.) and repairing them to full condition. I currently store my 100% condition items in my Megaton house in a locker but was looking to find a "display case"-like mod to better showcase the sum of my scavenging efforts. I am really impressed at all of the rooms/areas this mod adds but wasn't sure if it comes pre-loaded with everything, I do not want unlimited maxed weapons and unlimited stimpaks etc. to be available to me for free. Are the display pictures showing what the armories look like after they have been stocked by the Lone Wanderer, or is this basically giving players God-mode loot just cuz? Really takes the fun out of personal efforts to gather supplies and work towards an earned collection. I also see that this is categorized as "FAIR AND BALANCED", and "LORE FRIENDLY", neither of these descriptions would apply towards "here's a sh*tton of guns and consumables" that you would have otherwise had to find one by one around the wasteland. I'm only Level 15 currently and this would totally ruin any immersion I have of "building up" a collection. I guess I could just ignore existing/static display items, but that's like having sets of Daedric and Glass armor on display in your Skyrim house at a low level, I don't want console-command-esque things tempting me to take all around what could potentially be my new base of operations. If someone could clear up what the mod gives you (ex. only gives you ammo for your guns, doesn't necessarily unlock all guns) vs. what it allows you to fill in yourself, that would be GREATLY appreciated. This could be a #1 mod for me if it's not too "cheaty" and depends more on what the player itself supplies the base with.

So it's been a while but i will try to give my experience as i remember it.
It felt like a very smoothly integrated little hideaway, getting access to it was a nice little process (lore friendly if you will).
As far as i recall it comes with the displays empty and you fill in everything as you start acquiring them.
It did have some weapon exlusive to the mod, but you can just leave it and never pick it up.
No idea about ammunition, i don't recall suddenly getting an abudance of it out of nowhere either.
So all in all it's not something that will damage or jumpstart your progession curve and it doesn't destroy immersion.

EDIT: looking at the pictures i'm really not sure about the ammo, i don't recall them suddenly boosting my amounts, but from pictures i have the idea those aren't something the player place. So idk, up to you to try and see what/how you can deal with.

I ended up downloading it to see and it meets my expectations. All of the storage areas for medical or combat items have to be filled by the player. It does come with a minor amount of ammo for every standard military weapon, about equivalent to two loot spawns for each ammo type. It has a feature to "stock" your armory though, which is totally amazing, as I have like ten thousand bullets across all weapon types and I can offload them using a Sort button and have them displayed as stacks of even amounts (ex. 30 10mm rounds a box, a box of 20 shotgun shells) on dedicated shelving for said ammo, plus grenades organized in a row and Mini Nukes propped up side by side. Reminds me of Sarah Connor's stash in Terminator 2 but even more open and exhaustive. Also, in the same armory area, there are walls for the player to mount one of each weapon type in the game onto, sections for vanilla weapons, DLC weapons, etc. So now I have a puzzle of sorts to fill out, putting in max condition weapons of each type into their specific spots, my very own museum housing all of Fallout 3's weapons!

I get a notification that this mod isn't compatible because apparently it's for Oblivion? According to Vortex anyways.

I don't see anyone else with this issue so far so no idea how to address this.

I have seen that mentioned once or twice before, strangely enough, though I have no idea why.  I would say you can go ahead and use this, assuming Vortex will allow you to install it.  If not, manual installation should not be problematic, as the file structure is rather straight forward.

I'm going to have to do this myself it seems, as I am also getting this error, and Vortex refuses to process it because of this. That said, the readme is kind of vague on what you're supposed to do. It says to extract the files and then place the extracted files inside the data folder. Do I place them in the data folder inside their own folder, or do I loosely place the individual files directly in the data folder without their own folder?

eg, Does it need to be:
      "D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Data\{fileshere}"
      or
      "D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Data\UH V7.2\{fileshere}"

(UH V7.2 is the name of the folder these files come in).
Currently I have it set like the second one. Please let me know if I have this wrong.

The UndergroundHideout.bsa and the UndergroundHideout.esp need to be extracted into your Fallout 3 Data folder, so your filepath needs to be the first one.  Not installing the text file will not affect the mod.

I'm sorry if I'm just asking a question that's been asked dozens of times before. Is this compatible with or have you ever thought of making this compatible with Tale of Two Wastelands? I ask since this was my absolute favorite player home mod for fallout 3 and I've started thinking about it again after getting TTW so I could play new vegas and fallout 3.

Someone has done a TTW conversion of this, which you can find here.  I am rather fond of this mod myself, so I will be giving the conversion a try.  I do suggest reading through some of the comments though, as there are some issues with it.  With that said, there is a link on the main page, under Requirements, for a fix for some/all of the issues.

I would have to say that it is properly navmeshed, as I have never had an issue with companions/followers not wandering around inside the Hideout.  You are also the first person to mention this in the 10+ years I have been following this thread, so I find it very odd that you are having this issue.  How did you download and install this?

Did you move the file archive into your Data folder, or did you extract the archive contents using 7zip or something similar?  If you extracted the contents, did you activate the esp file in your mod manager?
