well he doesn't need to be for the legion. He can be for the brotherhood or enclave or even the khans. Alot of people actually hate the NCR for their greed and power lust.
The difference between that mod and this is, that mod for FO4 puts the effort to alter the lines and uses AI voice acting to make it more immersive attempting to make it fit. This mod on the other hand simply retextures them without doing that. Meaning it pulls you out of immersion since you know that it's merely a retextured Brotherhood of Steel to look like the NCR.
I don't blame the mod at the time since it's doing what it can with what was available back In 2012. Also, you're responding to a comment made back in 2015. They're never gonna likely see it.
I wonder if this would work with NCR Redesigned or any of the other great NCR texture re-placers out there. This looks very cool but my New-Vegas Data files and Armour meshes and textures are a dog's breakfast at the moment.
I'd love to see a mod that instead of replacing the whole brotherhood just adds a little outpost of NCR, maybe as a scouting mission. That way I can gladly shoot those militant, good-for-nothing, bitches and take their armor
I was all for installing this mod, but I do not have a Fallout New Vegas clutter folder in my New Vegas data folder, that I can find anyways. Weapons and Armor were there, however.
I want to download this, but it would sorta ruin the immersion for me. You know, because the NCR only exists in California, hence the name "New California Republic". Plus, I like Fallout 3's Brotherhood of Steel better. They're kinda tools in New Vegas, though.
Wow this mod looks awesome though I do think it would be cooler if the NCR had their own base and NPCs rather than replacing the BOS entirely and you could have a quest to fight the BOS.
