I have a question nevertheless: I've installed your mod correctly into the override folder. I use the Steam Ultimate Version, just in case you need to know that. :-) The dialogue appears as expected, when I start a private conversation with Alistair. I tested it at the camp. As some pictures here in the mod description show a really intense kiss, visible from sideways, I expected it as well. That's not like my result look like... unfortunately. I'd like to show what I mean with a screenshot. The texture clipping doesn't bother me...it's more about the fact, that the scene perspective isn't sideways. I mean...that's what this mod is about..the details! :-D ..which I cannot see, if I see myself from behind. It seems, that the perspective doesn't work out correctly in my case and I'm wondering, how this can happen. So I wanted to ask you about a possible reason or fix?

Well... I "fixed" it by myself! :-D The thing was.... the point in your description "- It replaces the original kiss scene when you click on "Kiss HIM"", irritated me. I found out that it worked with the conversation point "Kiss ME" after you choose the "private conversation section". Worked very well then... I love your great Mods! Thank you again! :-)
I truly love this mod....his facial expression when he goes to kiss your character really shows his love.....this is beautiful....Fully endorsed! I just discovered this game recently and now I cant stop playing because of mods like this one that make Alistair s romance the best one in the game.thank you so much for your work.
A visible kiss is so much more than simply seeing the physical kiss. Seeing the facial expressions and response to each other just brings you into the personal tenderness of that moment. I love this mod! And I am crazy about this game because of mods like yours.

I know some people consider DAO an antiquated game and community, but as someone who didn't discover DAO until Oct 2017, or even know that pc game modding was a possible thing until a month later, I was thrilled to see such a passionate DAO/DA community of moddlers/designers/creators still active and strong (and apparently working their butts off to preserve everything that Bioware doesn't. Thanks for the quick response. I figured out what I did. I never knew this could be a problem, my fault really. But, I have my downloads file organized by file names. What I didn't realize, is when a .zip is too far down the root tree, Nexus Mod Manager can't get to it. If I drag the .zip to my desktop and drop it in the loader from there the .zip installs fine. Who knew?
Anyway, thanks again for the reply. I have all your mods. I just love them all, you are a talented genius! I hope you keep creating mods!

I cannot download this anymore, the Nexus Mod Manager says it's 'read only' Does that mean this file is no longer available? It's not a dazip to use the DAO Mod Manager and The Nexus MO doesn't see anything to install? What am I doing wrong?
Please download the file manually instead of using Mod Manager and follow the included instructions in the readme. (Or check the readme tab here) It's a rar file (like a zip archive file). You should be able to double click it to view its contents, then extract (or drag) the contents to any folder and follow the directions.

I'd like to make a request. I know your mods are based on Alistair, but I would like to know if you can add Morrigan into the female PC's position and then the male PC into Alistair's position, thus creating a mod for Morrigan kissing. I understand if your answer is no, but perhaps you can release the Source files as an optional file?
Morrigan kisses with her eyes open and I feel your animation is better than Bioware's itself! So please, consider my request.
Way back when I modded Dragon Age, I had considered creating an additional mod for Morrigan and Leliana. I don't recall exactly what the problem was, and my vague memory tells me that it was far more complicated to implement given that each of their kissing scenes was a separate cutscene, unlike Alistair where you can kiss him anywhere, allowing me to create one scene for all or most situations.
The time it took me to create this one scene, i.e. make the animations weight and align properly under various potential positioning circumstances was incredibly difficult to say the least. After spending over 3 weeks, working and looping the scene from morning to night daily, it just wasn't practical to do it for the other NPCs especially given that each of their scenes were unique compounding the workload.
Even in the small chance of my reinstalling the toolset loading the assets and creating a builder to builder file of the source material, I doubt anyone would be up for the task of readjusting everything for each scene. Please do correct me if I'm wrong.
Lastly, the original Human Male and Human female polished work was sadly overwritten (my attempts at improving it further, which failed) and I don't have a backup resource file, (due to my inexperience with the Toolset at the time). I probably do have the Dwarf female and Elf female versions however.
No, it's no problem! Thank you for explaining the situation and releasing the mod! The Toolset is quite hard and I have no experience whatsoever. Attempting to learn a Toolset for a game that is not really as active as before is a dumb move, so I might learn newer games' creation kits instead.
I'd like to know though; do you create mods for other games? Your work is excellent and I'd really like to see it in Skyrim or Mass Effect.
I haven't really gotten into Mass Effect much and am uncertain whether they released proper tools for it. As far as Skyrim goes, given that my work primarily focuses on cinematics, Skyrim happens to be a cutscene free game. And there aren't really proper cinematic tools for designing them within their creation kit.
In search of a good story, I decided to concentrate my efforts on the Witcher franchise which is rich in backstory and lore. (perfect for cinematic storytelling) Given that The Witcher 3 doesn't have a proper toolset either, I decided to create scenes using the Witcher 3 assets within the Unreal 4 engine, which *does* have proper cinematic tools I've been working on learning how to make the assets work, building a proper workflow for over a year and still am, so I haven't released anything yet, but I truly do appreciate your asking
