Can anyone note down the difference between Haidara 1.0 vs Haidara 2.0 other than 2.0 being better in all ways? Are there any notable changes between both the versions. Kinda curious since both the versions are co-existing
I installed the 2.0 version of the mod and installed everything like the readme file said but I still have the supposedly fixed synching issue for voice calls. Anyone know what I can do?
Check that you didn't botch the installation. Sounds obvious, but I did the same thing, even though I should know better. The English(US) folder has to go inside Sound/Windows. Additionally, the readme is somewhat oddly worded, so make sure the files from the mod are in the same folder as the vanilla files, meaning don't just rename the old English(US) folder and then drop the one from the mod in there. There is only one file that might end up getting replaced (game_vo.bnk, I think), just rename that one and have both the vanilla and the mod files in the same folder.
First off thanks so much! I loved that I finally going to be able to play this game with OG voices... ever since I've played it on ps2 like decade and a half ago that I wanted to!
Now is there any fix for the low audio? I manage to fix the distortion noises by setting up 48hz but the audio still low (I know this has nothing to do with the mod and is a known issue but I couldn't find a fix for it yet) Any ideas other then boost my audio more then normal with 3rd party programs?
Only thing I would nitpick about this mod in the description is that the English VO is actually not bad at all, it's the script that is bad. The voice actors are doing a hell of a job with what they have and they deserve out respet, but the script/translation that they had to work with is godawful... I think I read somewhere back in the day it was translated in under a month.
