After a bit of troubleshooting (another mod was causing a perpetual blackscreen, and I thought it was this until finding the true culprit), the game launches as it should. Just like all the other games in the Kiryu saga here on PC, uniformly as it should.
QLOC are so inconsistent. First they don't use the HD text for Yakuza 5 that they used in 3/4 and now this. Wonder why they changed it. Regardless, thanks for this little change.
