This was something I did a while back for myself, when I first played thru Yakuza 6, since my version never worked with any of the aforementioned mod managers, I decided to doit the hard way.
I wanted my Kiryu to look older because it was his sixth game already for crying out loud.
I'm sure others want to do this too, heck I'm sure people just want to mod their game in general, but some of you have versions that do not support it.
Sharing these files is the least I can do.
[Installation]
backup your chara.par in the game installation folder/data
go to where your game is installed, open the data folder and paste the mod which is basically also another chara.par file
if you want to switch to another variant of this mod, just replace the file, if you want to revert back to vanilla, put back the original backuped chara.par

- for those who have versions incompatible with RMM (Ryu Mod Manager) or SRMM (Shin Ryu Mod Manager)
- e.g. Gog and other versions such as those acquired by sailing the high seas
- for those who are too lazy or don't know to inject the base mod files via ParTool or even those who just can't get it to work
