I dropped the data folder in the yakuza 6 directory but only my healthbar changed, nothing else did. Does this work with save files where you have already played?

Thank you for this mod! using it now.

I just noticed that there are some some mods specifically moveset mods don't work with this. If you activated a moveset mod and you purchase Health upgrade or Heat upgrade, the health and heat orb will go back to normal.

    Any fix for this?

    Thank you again!

After messing around with both of this mod's versions for a while, here's what I found out:
Other than taking quite a bit more damage than I'm comfortable with, the original 1.0 version of the mod actually works great for a fully limitbroken (300 in all stats) Kiryu on Legend. I just replayed several long fights and boss fights, and just... Wow, it almost felt I was getting closer to way it was meant to be played than the easy steamroll of vanilla. I'm DEFINITELY keeping 1.0 installed for my NG+ run later.

Can confirm - 1.0 version was just right for NG+ with a maxed out Kiryu.

can you make a version that doesn't lower his health? I actually don't mind the attack power being lowered. But he's got too little health with all the damage and enemies he faces.

So I have been using this mod since the beginning of my playthrough and I am almost done with the story. There are some things I have noticed.

?First of all, enemy damage is ridiculously high on hard. Health items are mandatory and sometimes I go through an inventory's worth on just one fight. Not sure if this is one of those "slight enhancements" to the hard difficulty like you mentioned but it is downright insane. I thought maybe when I maxed out Kiryu's defense things would be better, but no, damage is still insanely high.
?Another thing, damage to enemies is low, but not too bad that it draws out fights too long, (although some mini-bosses can be dreadful), however, damage to BOSSES is abysmal. Even with maxed out damage stat, full combos hardly make a dent in boss HP. It may be a placebo due to the tinier health bars on enemies, but bosses legitimately seem to take half the normal damage that you deal to street goons. Not sure if this another "enhancement", but it felt worth mentioning.
?One last thing I have noticed is that my health stat maxed out does not match the health shown in the mod images. I am unsure if this is just an oversight, or the health in the mod image is the "limit-break" health (aka 300 health) which I have not achieved since I have not maxed out all of Kiryu's stats to their cap yet. Also to keep things honest here, I had to reinstall the mod about halfway through the game, (I did not save or even start the game while the mod was removed), so I don't know if something happened there that reduced my health. (also might have messed with my other stats as well). All my stats seemed to be the same but I couldn't really know for sure. Maybe this could explain why difficulty was so high, but I really doubt that is the case.

Overall, this makes the game insanely difficult, even with stats maxed out, Kiryu always feels two hits away from dying and does not do enough damage to bosses to make the combat feel satisfying. If the damage enemies did to Kiryu was slightly tweaked in his favor, I would recommend this mod to people wanting to up the difficulty. But as it stands now it just feels unfair.

There are some last few quirks I'd like to point out as well, while every stat is halved and starts at 50, Kiryu's health stat is the only one that starts at 100, but this doesn't mean anything because Kiryu's health is still halved. However, this also means Kiryu's health caps at 200 but everything else caps at 100?? It doesn't really make sense because the game recognizes that you have leveled it up to what it would consider "200" because it lets you purchase Tiger Drop, but I still don't understand why this is the way that it is.
All in all, this means once you max out Kiryu's stats, (pre-limit-break, of course), he can only get as strong as vanilla beginning Kiryu, effectively making you fight every boss, every enemy, with BASE GAME STATS and just a couple combat moves.

OH and I almost forgot.. what was the need for reducing his stamina??? That is not needed and just makes the early game even more tedious. The jogging feature added also is hard to initiate even with the lightest tilt on the joystick (with the default sensitivity also) and doesn't even last indefinitely??? Lowering his stamina should just straight up be removed.

Hm.. Definitely seems like Kiryu's attack power is the most damning issue
I've even grown a bit impatient with the length of battles now myself
Here's a new version that doesn't touch it

Good day.I have been using this mod and I liked the harder experience. However i have a concern:The lower base stats make that is necessary to put more points than before to get things like the tiger drop. The ploblem with that is that the amount of points to update the stats incrisase with which point. The cap price for the stats updates is the same as the base game or it will be  bigger?I fear the game get too grindy or i only be able to get the abilitys locked behind status numbers too late in the game where i will have only the randon thugs in the streat to use.Sorry for my poor english and thank you for your time.

Sadly, I don't have an answer on the skill cap.
I went in with the assumption that as long as you didn't hit level cap 300 then you could keep leveling up.
As far as grinding goes, I boosted the vending machine drinks I believe. So +exp is more effective.
