Disclaimer for amateurs such as me, when you're doing this, DO NOT press backspace in the hex editor, this WILL break your save by shifting the entire file back 1 byte and you'll have to fix it manually. Just click on the byte you have to replace and type in what you have to replace. If you messed it up and you're using HxD, in the top left, under the "Edit" tab, There's an option to insert bytes. Insert 1 byte for every backspace you did in the spot right after the backspace happened, you should be fine with 00, since that's all that's in the rest of the line under the offset 00002060
Is it possible to only do this for Majima? I like doing the real estate minigame but I hate doing the cabaret minigame. In that same vein, I wonder what the addresses for the other styles are to remove the blocks on Thug, Slugger, and Breaker
yea you most likey shifted all the hex values over one, dont press backspace when replacing hex number as it shifts every number over one row and that makes the game try to load values in slots that simply dont exist. just click on the value you want to change and type over it, no other key presses required
I tried changing the value and I think I messed something up or im doing something wrong because I changed it. the save can run normally now but I have no legend style. maybe I did it to the wrong value or idk
Does this only work for the steam version? I tried hex editing before on the GamePass version of y0 but it always reverts back to its original set of code whenever I reopen the game and check the sav file. It also creates a bak file whenever I save it, I am not sure if its supposed to be like that or not.
I have the steam version. The bak file was created for me also. I have never used GamePass but maybe try disabling cloud saving if that is possible on it.
