    This can be run with 4.10 here how

    1. make a new folder in the extensions and put the files in the folder without the content.xml
    2. strat and in the extensions menu you find a mod called new folder or the same name of the mods next will be ON

    thank for the mod this is just how got it to work with 4.10

    Evidently not 4.0 compatible...which would be nice...anybody know of a mod for 4.0 that does the same as this?

    Hey, will you be making this mod 3.0+ compatible? The event backdoor is not firing for me, nor do i see the conversation option in the manager comm menu. Thanks

      It should work fine with 3.0+, the number on the Readme.txt is the minimum version. Egosoft just happened to release 3.0 of Rebirth about the same time as I was ready to release 0.05 of this mod and as I did most of the development under version 2.51 I left it

      The conversation option is susceptable to other mods fighting over the comms slots which is why I created the back door in version 0.05

      and we can go from there, I find it easier to deal with things there as its got a few more features, copes better with bigger messages and notifies me when messages are left.

      Essentially I will need you to create a debug file for me and post bits of it

    I used this script once but now it stopped working. The Recycle or Destroy -option wont appear in the conversation anymore...

    Tried re-installing the mod.

    Very nice. Think i hold it a little, dont want to experiment with my game and cause all my stations are on right place atm =)

      I am having a few second thoughts about whether I should have called this release experimental ..... as opposed to the first public beta. It does look to be scaring people off trying it out.

      I have been working solo on this project for about two months and have developed it from a series of eight code routines (with a total of 42 versions). Each of the routines was tested individually and the bugs fixed. My monitor has the area around Gushing Springs burnt into it by now and I think that I have heard "Entering Gushing Springs" over 500 times while testing parts of this code. :-)

      The assembled v0.01 code is the result of me bolting the segments together and doing some interoperability testing on them as one single script and fixing what issues I found. Its the first version that I am comfortable with someone else trying out although its not perfect .....

      I have been testing with my save games (17 days worth, 400+ hours) which have a fair number of Albion stations in Canteran Space plus some Canteran stations, an OL station and the Integrative URV Forge (suggest you finish the plot before recycling this).

      Have a look at the images where there are now two cargo screenshots for an Albion FoodStuffs Supply and an OL Licensed Distillery (note the plasma pumps).

      I was considering asking for a beta tester then decided that this really needed publishing sooner rather than later so here it is

      I think that I might just change the readme.txt status to public beta

      I think i'm a bad subject for testing, i have tons of other mods, and some of them are not even working from some point, like safetrades or populate player stations. So i can report some weird behavior not caused by your mod.

      Anyway, i'm really interested in your mod, especially if you will try to add functions i have suggested on egosoft forum.

      Maybe i'll try to backup my save and install your mod, case i already have installed word war x yesterday.

      I have modified this answer to bring it in line with v0.09

      The Defence Manager now provides the Destroy or Recycle menu. This leaves the Trading Manager to be used by Trading scripts.

      To do that it requires one free Defence Manager comms slot out of the three that are available in X Rebirth 2.51 for its top level menu. It does not mind which slot (1-3) it gets.

      The free comms slots are a limited resource and could be taken by this mod or by one or more 3rd party mod. This means that this mod could upset another 3rd party mod by taking a slot that it wants and can also be upset by not being able to get one of the three slots, it depends on who gets in first or last. If this script looses completely then the top level menu will not appear at all.

      The Backdoor option has been provided to get at the main Recycle or Destroy menu. To use it land on the Construction Vessel that is attached to the station that you want to Recycle or Destroy. If there is no Construction Vessel attached then hire a new CV with Architect and tell the Architect to Deploy to Station

      So if the other mod(s) do not use the Defense Managers comms slots then they should be fine, other than that you will need to try them out.
