Such a NOOB. I have tried to use your code to get the Simoon mods to work and for the life of me I dont know what I am doing wrong. Keeps turning up in extensions in game as no. Can you help? Hope you still check here occasionally
Yes, I do check here from time to time So the SidebarExtender and the Simoom's mods are listed and activated in the game ui? If yes, where did you create the menu-files and how do they look?
I've tried to use your mod to get the ufo mod back to work. Version 2.51 Update has "killed" the possibility to enter the menu. Coudn't solve it by now, since I've no expirience in modding. Maybe you can give some aditional advice to what information shoud be in the command lines? Or maybe create the menu für the ufo mod yourself?
Sorry I dind't answer, I forgot to check for comments here... as far as I know UFO is terribly out of date as the author has left the mod. Definitely can't recommend using it, as good as it may have been. If you do want to use it nontheless, you may try to add the sidebarentry yourself, it really should not be that difficult. But if you encounter problems you can ask on the forum, someone is always be willing to help
May i ask for a little improvement? Could you check if a mod creates a custom "new"-section at the top level of the menu while another mod uses the same, and add the other mods sections in the already created section? That would highly improve the use of the menu for modding purposes.
I'd try it myself, but its your project and my lua is more that just rusty. ^^
Oh, and if more custom menus are created, i blieve about 5-6, the menu stops working. Maybe this can be avoided by simply not adding more, if too many are added already.
