Hi, So this seems like a cool mod but it seems there's a few issues that crop up. Namely my Marine officer disappears after any and all boarding operation on a non xenon cap ship. There is no option to recall and he is not there when I dock at the captured ship. The marines however return. I tried to disable this mod to see if I can isolate this issue to just this mod but that messes up the save file and the save game cannot load. Tried multiple save game editors and they cant even detect the extension to remove it. Hope you can look into this, it's becoming a pain and a chore to find a new 5 star marine officer each time I board a ship.
Thanks for the mod, it does however seem to be incompatible with something. My game freezes about 30 seconds after the take-over is completed, whatever I do after (adding it to my squad, doing nothing, telling it to hold position, ...).
I had the auto 5 star crew mod and More Crew mod installed but deleting them didn't stop the game from crashing. Any idea what could be causing this?
i turned off this mod during boarding mission, and finished it without it. extra drone and crew was not added, there was no crash... 5 star crew mod added crew after docking at the station.. everything was good , walking, trading, talking to npc, until undocking,then game crashed.
OK... it works.. the floating K dont have boarding option, but when i get the station protection mission the K that comes with it can be boarded... BUT..... shortly after boarding game crashed
The problem with the crashes after you capture a ship seems to be becouse the mod also adds drones to the ship, when the crew tries to use the drones to repair the game crash. I solved the crashing by getting a save editor and removed the drone from the ship and now it don't crsh anymore. I also use the hull enginer mod so the ship is still slowly getting repair without it. Hope this helps
Superdupes, I have hacked about a bit with savegames, so I also have a k doodling about, basically trying out xml poking. however, I was thinking of going a different route, and adding a microdock just behind the jumpdrive. what I have found is if you set the ownership to player instead of xenon, they will take orders like a pilot, etc, however, my main problem at the moment is creating a dock with none of the usual garbage, sheds and props. and perhaps 3-4 of the holo's usually found in the center, that you can interact with like a terminal, with fix ship, take me to.. and so on. I wonder if its possible to make a mini holo k.
oh, and adding xl fuel/cargobays to ships is quite easy so far, but I have run into a brick wall with the albion pride.
I started a new Game with patch 1.20, This time I gave myself enough credits that I was able to prebuild 3 of every ship prior to doing Yisha's first mission, taking her to the Albion Pride Mission. Was hoping you would have this fixed or implemented before I got back to that part of the game again. I am gonna try and cap as many of the K-9's as I can if I can get them fully repaired I am hoping they work well in fights, I enjoyed fighting them the most their weapons were cool to watch while being attacked by them Not to mention the Black and Red Lights for a ship color scheme just look awesome.
