Hi, sry, perhaps I didn't get the meaning of this Mod. Is it false to know, what the ship i'm looking is actually doing and not all 30 Arawns are named identically?
It seems you found a trader flying an Arawn. Does the naming really avoid that?
Most (if not all) non-plot and non-mission ships are all given jobs, and are renamed to a name linked (by a tag) in the said job.
Some of the "problems" that can crop up are the PMC's Warden Carriers, since both the Light and Heavy Suls are all renamed to the same thing, it's hard to distinguish them from long-ranges (where it's hard to make a visual ID on it AND the interaction menu-info doesn't work when too far) or from certain viewing angles.
The same applies to fighters, as they are generally assigned to escort missions or whatever, and are renamed to the same name even when light and heavy fighters are mixed. You want to ID what type it is to assess how tough/fast it's going to be (not that it makes much of a difference since the Skunk is OP enough to even take out destroyers single-handedly), not figure out what that "enemy who's going to shoot you on sight and try to kill you" got for his/her mission when they took off from home base. Then there are the ridiculous names such as "Raiding Party" and "Fighter Squadron" that are assigned to every single craft for the group.
I almost left out the Heart of Albion's "Science Ship" here. From that name, there's no clue as to what the heck that ship's type is. (It's supposed to be a Rahanas-Liquid, in case you wanted to know.)
I just removed all the tags that link the names and the jobs together, and since no name is given to override the original ones, it doesn't change. (Looking at the language file, I'm glad about half of them aren't used. Otherwise, we could've ended up with a Taranis named as "Pest-Control" or "Interior Decorator" or something. )
