    Small xenon ships are not attacking me. No idea about the big ones since i haven't encountered any yet. Reivers do attack you however. Any fix for this? The mod works starting from v10, but there is this small xenon being best buddies problem. No idea if they attack NPC ships or not but NPC ships do attack them, haven't tested it enough yet. Anyway nice mod! Thanks.

    Edit: After testing more i found out that xenon are not attacking any ships at all unless being fired at, then they start shooting, This goes for the player aswell. They are shown red to me, but unless i start shooting them, they are just passively flying around. NPC ships do shoot at them sometimes, but it feels wonky. Sometimes even NPC ships do not attack the xenon,

      very wierd indeed.
      I dont think its an issue with my mod , sins all it does is increase the number of xenons and ''clones'' some to spawn more.
      during early Xrebirth days I did see this happen sometimes when there were massive ammounts of ships.

      maybe I should do a light version , maybe that would help

      Edit : maybe try playing with the numbers in the job file to see if that helps.

      another thing could be that it takes time for relatations between faction to start

      I've noticed a similar thing with the Xenon ships invading zones, specifically Albion->Shady Vault. About 10 of them flew out of a highway and all perched up right at the exit. Even when I started shooting their buddies down they just sat there. That zone was the only one I spent enough time in to notice this behavior. I'll report back if I keep seeing this though.

      Not necessarily a problem with the mod, just something I noticed after starting to use it. Areas that have Xenon flying around normally (e.g. Maelstrom zones) seem fine and issue attack commands when I come into range. Maybe something with the faction relations in sectors that don't normally see Xenon activity? I don't know how 'intelligent' the relation scripts are with regard to factions it doesn't normally deal with in those sectors. Just speculation.

      All-in-all I'm happy with the increased activity and if a few small Xenon ships decide to sit there and get blown to bits... so be it :-)

      This does sound like a CPU overload issue , or engine same thing happens in X3 and once in X2 I saw a massive fleet just stop and let it self get killed

    V9 was broken , I am uploading fixed V10
    I PROMISE V10 will work as I have just done 3hrs of testing it

      Thank you so much for making it work! There are xenon in albion and devries. The overall enemy count has increased everywhere. So this does work! Now if only this mod would be compatible with the reduced mass traffic mod, would be even better. Thank you so much for updating it quickly!

    @ ChaoticSide sadly v9 doesn't work as loose files for me either. Would be greatly appreciated if the modder would make it work with the extensions folder like many other mods out there. There is no older version of this mod anywhere either sadly. I had v8 but deleted it when v9 came out without backing it up first, Turned out to be a huge mistake, You have to create the libraries folder in your x rebirth root directory according to the installation instructions, but it still does not work even with the -prefersinglefiles command set, We have to wait for C0331 to make the mod work with the extensions folder and nexus mod manager like it did before.

    Is it just me or is there no '/library' folder contained in the download? I've read through the instructions on here and the ego-forums and can't seem to get this to function as loose files. Is there a working version8 around somewhere that I can use while version9 gets fixed?

    Please go back to the v8 modding method that worked with the extensions folder. This mod is awesome, I loved v8 and was excited for future updates! Now with v9 this mod doesn't work anymore. I followed the installation instructions perfectly. I put the libraries folder into my X Rebirth root folder and I did insert the launch command -prefersinglefiles too. I even tested this without other mods to see if it was a mod conflicting issue, but it still doesn't work. So please make this mod work with the extensions folder again like v8 did. Personally I would prefer waiting more for new releases of the mod if the mod worked with the extensions folder and was easy to install. I am sure I'm not the only person wishing this mod worked with the extensions folder again. Thank you very much for v8 of this mod and an even bigger thanks if you decide to go back to the older modding method again!

    Edit: If possible make this mod work with the reduced mass traffic mod or add a different version of this mod that reduces mass traffic. Thank you again.

      sorry about that.
      you have to put the folder libraries into your Xrebirth root folder.
      then put the launch command on steam -prefersinglefiles
      then just play the game and have fun

      Ok, got it!
      To uninstall, eventually, i suppose that I have to remove the launch command and delete the library. No side effect on the saves? And how delete a launch command from steam?

      to remove launch command just put a blank instead.
      to remove just remove files of the mod.
      it will have no effect on the save game , my file tells the game what to spawn once spawned they will have to get killed , but once there dead it will look at the job file again and spawn new npcs , if my mod is no longer there it will spawn in vanilla numbers

    Nice mod. Im wondering, how could I reduce the mass traffic to 3/4? Because when I start a new game, there's the Zenon cap and I think 20+ fighter escort, my game lag.

    Edit: And how to reduce the escorts?

      open up the job file with a text editor.
      then look for

      Wings = escort fighters
      then the other thing
      is quoatas like qluster sector zone each one has its ammount set changing it will help.

      a new version that is more optimized is coming up soon

    I'm not seeing any increase of hostiles in my game. However... I'm wondering; is the increase for the Compaign Only... or should I be seeing an increase in FreePlay??

      in both , its only for the real ships you see not mission ships.
      also if continuing from a normal game you may have to wait for them to spawn.
      and this mod is not compatible with somthing like less trafic etc

      I actually started a new game (Free Play)... and while I'm running a few Mods, none of them change the Traffic. However... I'm only bearly getting out of LookOut Alpha and Far Out; so maybe the Local Authorities are getting to them.

      I took a look... and with VERY little experience or understanding of Mods... I couldn't find any other Mods with the same file name as yours. As well... I only found one file in your Mod; called ( JOBS )... is that all there should be???

      As well... I also realized that I am running a Mod which incrases Bail-Outs. It didn't have a file called 'Jobs'...but it does have this line in the coding:

      <replace sel="/aiscript/interrupts/library/handler/actions/do_if[@value='event.param']/do_if/do_if/do_if/do_if[@value='$precheck']/do_if[@value='this.$nextcapturechance lt player.age']">

      As your Mod had a folder called Library... It kind of caught my attention. Could this be the cause???

      It's late right now; but tomorrow I wil probably pull the Bail Mod, and see if that makes a difference; I'd rather have more to fight than more Ships I can't do anything with - LOL.

      what I will recomend you do to see if my mod works is to start a new game (not to play but to test) say try at least 3-4 times , you know when you start in albion there a chance that there a xenon raid or pirate raid (sometimes both ! ) when and if you see them you know the mod is working , thus you can resume your normal game.

      jobs file is a file (duh lol) that controls the dynamic trafic and npc (good and bad) either it be military or traders , they are all managed here , in older X games (Xbtf-X2TT) npc were pre placed on the map from X3R and up if uses a system called jobs , in side the file you have the names of ships and there numbers , I dont know how to change spawn points yet , in tc is was simple but here not as much.
      annyway say the job file tell the vanilla game to spawn 1 xenon K , and my mod tells it to spawn 5Ks you will have to wait for the vanilla xenon K to die for my mod to replace it with its bigger numbers of Ks O'death


      PS I dont think the bail mod causes issues as I use it as well

      Okay... it's definately working. Usaully when I start, I immediately look for a place to land and try to find a Mechanic; this time I flew around, and actually saw a 'Ton' of hostile ships; I actaully saw it before, but with No Reticle I didn't realize they were hostiles.

      Thanks for taking the time to walk me through all this; and Thanx for the Mod!!!

    I have tried this, and it seems to work as expected, I have yet to try it on escort missions,
    but I think with a decent enough fleet, it will be great fun, by the way, is it possible to make Xenon spawn randomly everywhere? Hmmm, I think The Kha'ak neeed to reappear as well,

      the mod affect only world ships , not mission ships so during mission it will be the same as befor. but nothing stops the game from sending a xenon K-B9 into the same zone as you are doing your mission.

      and about the Kha'ak for that we have to hope egosoft brings them back
