    This needs to be updated as It does not work with the recent patch. Thank you for reading.

    Ps. If you can add this on steam that would be great.

      It does work as of 3.10. If it doesn't, delete the mod folder before reinstalling the shipyard compatible version. (Older versions may have code that conflicts with the patch.) Also remember you should still be in sector when you start to build the station. If you are outside the sector, go back to the sector and wait for it to start the next build cycle.

    Hi
    i just downloaded this mod and use it in my old save game, and my construction shop get stuck in an loop when tries to finish, architect keep saying module complete but it just restart from 0% all the time and never finish, any suggestions?

    i tried to remove architect from md folder and also dock with the enw station, look like it works, but seem like i have to dock with station all the time, will keep updated if not work

      Devs said they'll fix these bugs in the next patch. We'll see...

      It's fixed probably not because removing the architect file from md folder. I think you fixed it because you quit the game and reloaded xD

      Yes its working now, i wonder why i not get notifications about these messages...
      seem like you have to stay in same sector when they building or maybe enter station,
      annother thing is it compatible with stations trading?, i see the built stations dont need any money anymore.

      After the station is built, the stations should still require resources and thus money. Unless you're using my other cheat mod: self-sufficient player factory? Or maybe you did not assign a manager to the station?

      no i am not using the other mod, just testing this one out because of all the trading around to start build station, and yes i have manager in all stations, now my URV Supply Line station not uppgrading at all, after i built the first stage, trying to find out if any other mod messing it up but i think not, only have build shipyard mod and some mod that adds npcs automatically after station finished...5 star ship and crew it was called removed now and also some albion trade station that dident work, will see now what will happend.

      haha 90% of my stations and ship dissapread now.... but loading very fast

    Hi copperzinc and All.

    One hell of a mod and your other Self-Sufficient Player Factory mod these are the best ever thanks man.

    The way the game's screwy trading is and wares not to be found this mod is the best thing to happen i can now get on in the game.

    One point though some of the building is very slow like i have one station being built and the first stage build is so far taken 10+ hours in real time hate to think how long that is in game time and its at 86% when i left it to write this.

    Idea maybe a boost build mod to speed things up a bit.

      This is probably caused by having too few construction drones. If you have your own shipyard and is using both of my mods there's no reason not to max out drones so you get ~20 cargolifters and fill out the rest with construction drones (they should replenish as long as shipyard has funding to work with).

      If you have enough drones (you should get at least 20, even without the mod), it shouldn't take long at all. The first stage of stations if you have 20 drones takes about 10 mins max.

      If you only bought 1 drone, buying 20 gives you 20x speedup... Now if you fill it to the drone limit...

      For me, usually it's the time it takes to get construction ship to position that takes the longest time (especially if you have to use the jumpdrive and don't have fuel). The puny engine runs like a mule... It's easy to mod it but I'd usually just leave the game run for an hour to do other stuff. xD

    I dont understand what this mod does exactly.. "However, the resources will be allocated to you once the station starts to deploy" what do you mean by that?

      All resource requirements for the station construction should be satisfied automatically once the construction ship starts to unpack (which happens after it's moved into the position). The station construction starts immediately after unpacking, without requiring the player to provide the ship additional building materials.

      Sounds nice.. do you still have to bring resources for expanding the station after?

      like once you want to make the station bigger for all the other modules

      I tried to test that. Sadly, I can't get any upgrades to be constructed at all, even with no mods installed.

      It would be nice if someone could verify this aspect of the mod for me. I already have the relevant upgrade/repair codes written down, but there may be some issues on the execution sequence which may result the resource not being allocated before the resource list is compiled.

      I've heard of people who expanded many modules to their first station. Myself i started the expanding, and now im at the point of bringing more resources to my construction vessel. So far my rahanas were able to trade about 3/4 of the resources needed, just missing bio-optic wiring and fusion reactors

      I always have the problem of not having the construction status showing up at all in my game. I'm suspecting that the construction area is being blocked, but I don't really get confirmation either way...

      And does this also apply to making extensions or do we need to provide resources for that?

      For station construction, all wares are transferred to construction vessel at the start of the build. In fact, when prompted you should select "I'll take care of it" option or transfer 0 credit to the construction vessel. The resources will automatically appear in the resource bin of the construction vessel once the build plan is deployed. Since this is still beta, you should see a money transfer notification in the MFD with "null" message. (You can remove it easily in NPC_Architect.xml if you want to.)

      You should still have cargolifter and construction drones for your construction vessel.


      And does this also apply to making extensions or do we need to provide resources for that?

      In version 2, no. In version 3 (just uploaded half an hour ago), yes it also applies to station upgrades.

    To answer the question about the upgrades, the answer is no. It only allocates the materials needed for Stage 1 of the main complex you are building. Like for the construction shop it allocates materials for the first plate shop and that is all. After that initial construction you are responsible for the materials. Of course if you have a station manager and aren't in a dead zone resource gathering can be a lot easier if you don't mind paying others to do it for you.

      Thanks for the feedback. I was a bit busy for the past few weeks. Will fix this problem when I get the chance to play again =] (After they fixed the station section build bug, I can't test it otherwise...)
